For me, there is nothing more satisfying than listening to singer who appears/sounds vocally relaxed. Interesting how at times the chest and head voices are mixed. Thank you Marc! Instead of fitting people to stories where they may not be quite what you'd expect, tell new stories with people that fit the story. I want to explore cultures all around the world, with people in those cultures inhabiting the stories. There are a lot of local Filipino folklores that would make for a great movie, even a great Disney movie. I am sure the same thing is true with all the countries in the world. Mori would be a great assett to any musical, but I can imagine more. Tell me a story I've never heard before, tell it well, sing it well. We can all dream.

Of course Disney wanted Mori to sing without too many frills, as in their tradition: rather classic than "pop". Only in the end she was allowed to let go a little with her own style. Anyway, the Disney's songs are evolving from the classic singing, becoming more "pop": in the end, it's no longer the time of Cinderella or Mary Poppins. I think Morissette is the perfect singer for this transition, because she can make the right balance between classic and pop. Furthermore, if Disney wants to be at the top of the entertainment industry in the Indo-Pacific area, which will be the most economically dynamic area in the next decades, with hundreds of millions of people, they will need some Asian star, from Vietnam, Thailandia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia... or the Philippines, and I hope that Mori will be among the front runners in that competition.
