Madrigal Singers, always a spectacle. Mori is such a showstopper. The song was made even more difficult because of the slow tempo thus needing more breath support but she did it like a pro!

what's even harder here is that it's acapella. kung magkakamali ka ng tono, halatang halata. kung mali yung beat mo, madadamay mo pati yung choir na kumakanta. kaya ang galing galing talaga ni Morissette!

I mean, it's easy for other singers to belt and do stuff like that but to have that control on your voice singing acapella without overpowering the choir is truly amazing and a very hard thing to do. 💛

Where even to start! First off the Madrigal singers! holy mackerel! One of the best choral groups I've ever heard. Notice they are SITTING! I love the arrangement where they encircle her and she stands in the middle. While watching and listening to it, one thing is evident ,there is noone like Morissette Amon , I repeat there is noone like her! This was a masterclass in vocal control, dynamics, vibrato, pacing, her restraint was unreal! The technique was so flawless, it allowed all of us to be swept away by just pure sound. This performance just floats! If ever there was a performance for vocal coaches to pour over it's this one. They need to see this astounding choir and at the center, Morissette, giving us further proof that her voice in the music world is critical! Glory to God for the gift you bestowed upon this beautiful girl!

Her voice is just so distinct. Her voice control is impeccable. Her projection, gesture and facial experessions in almost all of her performances are on point. Her ability to blend in and equalize her voice just to not overpower the other is excellent. I see no reason why this girl should not be put to the pedestal of the singing industry. Regardless if she is commercial or not, she undeniably has something more than a talent- she has a gift.

Choral singing is one of the or in my perspective the highest and difficult form of singing. It’s because choral singing is 80% listening and 20% actual singing and you have to do it together. It takes a very good soloist with great control of his or her voice who could actually flawlessly sing with a great choir. Morissette is one of the few great singers in the Philippines who is able to go with the heavenly music of the Philippine Madrigal Singers. This performance was superb because the audience was filled with highly musical people who carefully listens to each single note being sung. Mabuhay MADZ and Morissette! Blessed to watch this performance live.
