In Honor of Pam Dawber's 70th Birthday - A little tribute video of Mindy's best reactions/responses to life with Mork (in order of my favorites).
Happy Birthday Ms. D. (or Mrs H)!
Robin, Tom Poston, Jonathan Winters and Howard Storm all said she was one of the best 'reactionary' actresses in the business. Remarkably able to take the comic storm about her in her stride, and the show never would've worked without her. Wholeheartedly agree.

Pam was so incredibly beautiful (she still is, in her 70s!), and a really great actress. I don't know why she never got more parts in big movies. And I don't know how she ever kept a straight face around Robin Williams! I've had a crush on Pam since 1978, the first time I saw her on Mork & Mindy, and I still have that crush! She's gorgeous, and so funny!

God, she was gorgeous! (She still is, at 70!) I've had a crush on Pam Dawber since 1978, and it's nice to be reminded why! She's beautiful, she's sexy, she's funny, she's talented, and did I mention beautiful?

All of Mindy's reactions are so, so good. But when she found out she and Mork were expecting... golden material

Yes! 100 percent love that one (obvs., as I ranked it so high :-D ). The 'Readers Digest' moments/and her panic are wonderful. Pam never has gotten (or gave herself) the credit she deserved for how good she was.

Pam Dawber was the perfect woman for Mork. She had such a beautiful soul. She had an innocence about her that made her even more beautiful. She had gorgeous hair, soft and sweet eyes 👀, and her smile was warm and so loving. Yet she had a sexiness that took her over the edge. Again her eyes were so seductive, yet innocent. She could look concerned, angry, funny and always adorable. But she also had a look of strength, Like she'd knock you on your hinder if you got smart. 😉 She was truly a great actress, and again an extremely sexy woman. Mork and Mindy was one of the top comedies on📺TV📺 ever. M*A*S*H is and will ALWAYS BE #1! But M&M is easily in the top 10, maybe the top 5? It was brilliant!

She was, and is, a stunner! Total natural beauty with just buckets of charisma and charm, who absolutely could switch between sweet and sexy with ease. And a lot of what you see on screen as Mindy was definitely her. Primarily because the Network actively didn't spend much time on Mindy's character, so the writers, who liked Pam a lot, basically made her personality Mindy's. I have always admired her hugely, as she was unusually down to earth and forthright in interviews. Even in the 70s/80's in a time when actors were still supposed to toe the studio/network narrative. Not letting herself get dictated to by the Network and speaking her mind about things she didn't feel were right, even if she later acknowledged it wasn't always best for her career! Very Mindy actually! 😉

They really had chemistry going but that show had the wrong title it should it had been Mindy and Mork As much as I love Robin Mindy was and still is one of the most talented and beautiful women in Hollywood And that show really was 50/50 they both made it work love them both equally RIP Mork

Robin was a genius, but you're completely right, the show worked/lasted because of what they 'both' brought to it. As Robin himself said, Pam grounded him and the show, and made the whole thing work by making it believable via her naturalness (not to mention her own comedic ability growing as time went on).

Here are the best emotional reactions with Mindy (played by Pam Dawber) from the 80s TV show Mork & Mindy.

I missed a lot of episodes. I never saw the last one with all the Mindies in the closet....lol......or armoire. Either way these were extremely funny clips. Pam Dawber was, wait no IS a beautiful woman. Mark Harmon is a lucky man. Mork and Mindy as I said was such an iconic show and every character that appeared on the show was perfectly casted. Robin Williams 🙏, as always BRILLIANT ACTOR! Pam Dawber PERFECTION! I can't remember Mork's crazy, well one of his crazy buddies! LOL. He was the guy who always wore the Towel looking or pajama looking suit. He had the crazy eyes. Sorry but everyone was brilliant on this show! But Pam(Mindy) was such a beautiful lady. I had a HUGE, H U G E, H U G E crush on Pam Dawber as a kid. I adored her, Erin Gray from Buck Rogers, Catherine Bach from Dukes of Hazzard, and Victoria Principal from Dallas, oh and Dana Plato from Different Strokes. Later Tracey Gold on Growing Pains, her Mom(Joanna Kerns) was smoking🔥🔥Hot🔥🔥 too. So was the Mom from Family Ties(Meredith Baxter Birney). More importantly these shows were funny, entertaining, interesting, and just enjoyable to watch. When they did have important elements, some issues they wanted to share and make aware of some problem, it wasn't shoved down your throat like the new Hollyweirdo's Hollywood. Agendas were NEVER placed before the show. In some cases like it Different Strokes when Arnold and his friend meet a bike shop owner who likes younger boys. They did this episode to make AWARENESS about this sickening and disgusting reality. I really respected how things were handled back then. Hollywood was far more in touch with the problems than they are now. Nowadays most of the shows are politically based💩💩💩💩💩! Sad but true!

LOL! That, from the sounds of it, would be Exidor, Mork's crazy street prophet friend/adoptive father, and Mindy's quasi nemesis. The brilliant Robert Donner. I had a girl crush (of a sort) on many of those you named, with Pam's Mindy, Erin Grey's Wilma and Carrie Fisher's (to switch mediums slightly) Princess Leia being my absolute heroes (and who I would've loved to have been!). I was a SciFi, Sitcom and Movie Buff/Nerd back then (and still am). As to the writing, sadly, in many cases, I have to agree. The ability to be able to highlight 'issues' within the framework of a show, in a subtle but hugely effective manner, without it taking complete control of the narrative, seems to have been lost by many in the current generation of writers. The Mary Tyler Moore Show, most of Norman Lear's shows, the Golden Girls etc. had the ability to make their points on social issues that absolutely needed to be talked about, but without losing sight of the fact that they were comedies. And in doing so, I believe were all the more effective for that. By being funny first, and then hitting the audience with a punch of reality, they were far FAR more effective, and (I believe) got more people to think/pay attention across a wider strata of society. then as you say hammering home the problem as if the audience had to be hit over the head repeatedly with it. By the way if you want to see the Cloned Mindys in the Armoire episode (which I love), it's here on You Tube! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/e5ymiqWY1Nuzf5s.html

@@morkandmindy7826 Somehow this production, especially because of the intense chemistry between Pam and Robin, was magical. It were these little quirks. Just watch those looks between them. Outtakes cut or not (which I'm gonna start looking for right away); this is TV-lightning caught in a bottle. 😄❤

@@JayDeeIsMyName Absolutely agree. The two of them just sparked off / enjoyed each other all the time. As much as Robin's comedic genius is the fuel, Pam grounds it with her believability and the brilliant chemistry between the two was unfailing. All the more remarkable considering they never even auditioned together, or even met till they started the publicity shoot.
