Morne Steyn divides opinion among rugby fans, but one thing cannot be argued - he was as consistent as gravity. It was interesting making this video, because you can actually see how his style of play evolved over the years and although he was always a good kicker, he only really became famous for his kicking exploits around 2009.
Love him or hate him, he was and is a great rugby player. He had an eye for a gap and could keep the scoreboard ticking over with a drop.
He was deadly accurate with the boot and often was the difference between his side winning and losing.
