i completely forgot this song existed. i knew it was by ariel pink and weyes blood but i could never find any results of a collab by them. now i know it’s because the song was removed from apple music and spotify, but i’m glad i was able to find it again.

@@MonoChorMe Pink and Maus were at a residential house in DC, within relatively close proximity to the events on Jan 6th, and were purportedly on the outskirts of the protests. This got them mostly blacklisted from future opportunities, and got collabs like this one removed from streaming services.

I find out it looking for Ariel Pink songs that I have never heard. (I think he and Weyes Blood work together on the same label, Mexican Summer.) These lyrics are really good. Weyes Blood has some other good songs. And Ariel Pink is one of the most innovative musicians today. Check him out.

For those who can’t find this song anymore ANYWHERE…I think Weyes Blood cut ties with Ariel Pink after he did an interview saying some very controversial things. That’s my theory at least.

she's also a close friend of his ex girl friend (Charlotte Ercoli) who he abused, to the point she was granted a restraining order against him. she worked on several of natalie's music videos like seven words, I believe weyes blood and pink met through her.

I see there is politics surrounding the artist which was a bit disappointing to find out but I believe art and people don't have to be associated, I mean hell no one cared about Van Gogh's art until he passed away. It's subjective to us all, glad to see there's a lot of people who also believe what I do in some other comments. Art is supposed to be surreal and not intrinsically linked to politics or stuff like that.
