I've seen this movie at least 10 times, a wonderful love story full of kindness, respect, faith, in rural Georgia. Very typical of north Georgia. Watch it ladies, you'll fall in love with Reeve all over again.

If you liked the movie...the book is beyond words...way more detail then the movie had time to show and you literally get lost in it when you read it! I read it years ago and will never forget it! I actually kept the book...which I never do.

I wholeheartedly agree. I 1,000% recommend reading the book or, better yet, getting the audiobook by LaVyrle Spencer. The sheriff's scenes with the town bimbo are a bit raunchy, but the healing and faith journey Will and Eleanor take together is superbly written and deeply moving!!!!!

A beautiful movie with great acting by all. Such a pleasure to see Christopher Reeves in such a good role. Sad that he left us so young. A truly remarkable person, who fought such a courageous battle in the later part of his life.Very much missed.

I have seen this movie before and it’s a really good movie to watch again and again and again. To see Christopher reeves as a healthy man instead of one in a wheelchair is wonderful. I’m sure he had a wonderful life. We will always remember him as superman and Robin Williams best friend. Rest in peace Christopher

Growing up in the 70's, Christopher Reeves was my favourite actor, only because he played Superman. This movie helped me appreciate him as a true actor, playing his part with conviction.

Deborah Raffin and Christopher Reeve were both fine actors, and both of their lives ended much too soon. This very sweet and tender movie is a fitting tribute to both of them. Their fans love this movie and their memories to this day.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this movie. Christopher Reeves was an exceptionally fine actor, beautifully built and incredibly handsome. I agree that both lead actors played wonderful roles, humble, respectful, displaying every lovely caring quality towards each other in their desperate need of each other. The tenderness in the love scenes is different from anything any other actor has shown. What a poignant reminder for his lovely real wife for her tragic loss, which is shared by all of us!

I wasn't expecting such a good movie. Why haven't I ever heard of this one? Wonderful acting and a wonderful story and a wonderful ending. He was a super man before he was Superman. Such a tragic ending to his real life.

I was today years old (yes, that dates TF out of me) when I learned this was a movie. I've read LaVyrle Spencer's novel over and over and over - one of my "guilty" pleasures as a teen guy in the late 90s. I still love the novel to this day and I'm excited that they actually made it into a movie.

But only two found in all the billions or skachillians ever found as the final count God would know and maybe make the fact known if the topic comes up...Dana and Chris ...wow...the universe changed as the love left became free to live with no limit of humanity needing only to be happy and humble and kind. Free and their is no one whom can ever change how forever two remain happy as death could not rob their goodness as they lived true to their very being. The magnitude was and remains inside of me...a kaboom that God himself had to feel his heart as the universe heard God received all He ever wanted. Alone my Creator can never find He forever is. For any person whom believes themselves to know real true love, know God and know even I wanted only you to know what is true and you must search inside of your own being, what is right remains true and what you find remains wrong even while you attempt to pick and choose. The tears of love will be pouring upon those whom know only right is always true and where is love alive and unwilling to save one you. Uh, beautiful movie, eh?

Special people don't advocate using mutilated dead babies for scientific research as Reeve and his foundation have done. Adult stem cell research works but Reeve didn't care about that.

I'm not a fan of tear-jerkers, but this film was far beyond that. Reeves was beyond praise! I can't imagine that he did not get an award of some kind; Deborah Faffin was total perfection - the quietly growing romance was natural and wondrous to watch. Reeve's respect for womanhood and his gentleness should be an inspiration to every man. But I suppose those days are gone forever, alas for us.

Can't argue with that except for the degree of quality. It's the rarity of a film of any quality and the, as you say, amount of commercial rubbish that is released that makes this film appear so special But non the less it was enjoyable and entertaining as well as a very simple and human film as I imply myself above. I would probably have enjoyed it more if the sound track had been clear to hear and understand.

I really enjoyed this lovely movie...a really lovely story with a great storyline and a happy ending. I always loved Christopher Reeve and my top favourite movie was Somewhere in Time...he was lead man with Jane Seymour...another great movie I adore with him in it. So sad he had to die so young but he left some great movies for us. God Bless Christopher and his Dear wife who sadly died awhile after him...R.I.P. to them both.... Thanks for sharing such a lovely movie 👍😊😊

I can imagine this awesome man teaching everyone in Heaven how to fly! He was an exceptional person who had a wonderful attitude and zest for life…. GOD Blessed us for quite awhile with his presence…. ⚡️☀️

THIS movie is my all time favorite!!!! A story about two “losers”.... two people shunned by society who have to depend on each other in order to survive.... a beautiful, beautiful love story....

I love Nina Fouch also played Bithea Moses adopted mother in the movie the Ten commandments. She was a beautiful lady.

How I love Christopher Reeve in these films, another one I truly love is “Somewhere In Time”, like this one, Romantic type film but set in present and past genres and love prevails throughout time eras. Never have I been disappointed with any of his films. RIP Christopher Reeve, may your work inspire others….👍👍👍👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It has been many years since I saw I heard the name Christopher Reeves. It has been since his self documentary book was released and he passed away. It’s really good to see one of his movies again!!!!!❤️❤️❤️ he was a great actor❤️🥰

I myself at even 40 yrs old, recognizes the drastic change that has happened n the world.. from movies to real life.. I remember when 18yrs old really meant u were an adult, not just because that’s what the law says, but because most 18 yr olds behaved the part.. in every way.. there was more innocence peace kindness empathy respect, not just for others but for oneself, there was pride, now it’s like 18yr olds are still children, it’s every man for themselves and the world is just one big cesspool of disgust and disappointment.... o to have a time machine

This was the most awesome movie, this was based on a book written by lavyrle spencer. She was the most talented writer in the romance genre. I wish they had made all her books into movies. All her books are as good as this movie

U can watch long kiss good night starring geena Davis of telma and Louis fame and samuel L Jackson must watch action movie. Old movie got released in probably 1996 . Definitely u will love the movie. Narrow margin starring gene hack men ultimate suspense movie. He got ocsar for best actor for French Connection movie. He acted in. Primal fear starring Richard Gere and Edward Norton is also good thriller.this movie is based on spilt personality.usual suspects ultimate thriller starring Kevin Spacey is also Good Suspense movie. Double Jeopardy starring Ashley judd and Tommy Lee Jones is Osm Thriller MOVIES

An exceptional, tasteful, excellent movie! Scenery, actors, storyline top-notch! I would not hesitate to recommend everyone to watch. Nudity, cursing, distasteful scenes are not necessary ingredients for a great movie! Thanks for uploading this nice film!

Another great movie for Christopher Reeve. I was drawn in so quickly with the superb acting and story line. It shows that it is not what you have, but what you make of it no matter how hard the times. I will defiantly purchase this one for my collection.

My parents were kids during the depression it was a bleak time in American history, yet great stories like this film were to be written about it..(thank you for the upload)
