This is honestly sad. When you grow up in a place like this is hard to scape toxic behaviors (gang affiliation, smoking, drinking). Those who leave are really brave because it takes courage and it's obviously difficult due to the lack of opportunities

If you went back in a time machine just 50 years you'd see kids playing in the street, mom taking care of the house, dad at the plant or office. Women walking their babies in the strollers, out to church on Sunday. As you get older you realize just how fast times go by. Fifty years is nothing. All these cities laid to waist in half a century.

I loved hanging out with my homies drinking and getting high and in trouble when I was like 17 to 21-2 but I quickly realized that this would lead me to doing the same shit every day and not progress thats why I switched my environment and got my masters degree and now life has a lot more meaning, those homies unfortunately are in the same spot, drinking and getting high with no purpose in life. Your comfort zone is killing you and the sooner you realize it the better, those guys will never achieve anything by sitting on their asses in front of their houses all day, people who don't go out of their comfort zone never achieve great things in this world.

I’ll never forget where I came from, raised in the city of Lynwood CA grew up to nwa and the chronic 2001 surrounded by my Hispanic gang friends and black. But come on there comes a time where we all grow up, do our best to get out of the hood, the hood ain’t no place to be, many of these people for some reason cherish that shit, keep giving excuses in why they can’t get their life together. Like trust me lol I’ve done about every dumb shit a ghetto person can do. I lived and learned, but I’m ashamed how many people out there don’t care about learning both sides of the story, victimize themselves so they can receive more, feel relevant for participating in a move that didn’t resolve shit. I moved out of the hood and now moving out of cali after I saw so much opportunity and growth in other states, and for some reason republican states as well, kinda shows how democrats use these scenarios to make those protestors feel like they gained power when in reality they just gave the president and state gov city mayors more power. They might have gained more welfare and stimulus checks, that’s why everywhere in cali now have hiring signs. Wake up cali, stop being so ignorant relying on gov aid, stop idolizing gangs and Hoes. All this fast money but no investment. Everyone’s got a choice

It’s not about leaving the hood, it’s more so about understanding the distinction about why the things that you see depicted here, are the way they are. So here’s a perspective I read here, and someone said…”It looks like most of their day consists of standing around…” and if this is your same experience, let me tell you. Things don’t look the same to different people, only what is common between them and their views. In that, your commonality would be “blacks don’t do anything all day but stand around…”I will just say, these same folk out here claiming blocks and streets and zones. Imagine what it would look like if you took all that drug money, pimpin gang banging and hoeing, money and found a face that could get you into a realtors office so you could buy all those blocks you claim. Then all the shooters and killers could be hired to patrol and protect THOSE specific streets blocks zones that you stand on. Then begin a neighbor hood fund that can support all the families in those areas that are claimed. It’s a stretch but it’s possible, and imagine the shift in the world when it happens…😎😎💪🏽💪🏽

coming from London I just can't believe this type of gang / hood mentality still exists. over here our gangs are never seen, they're like night owls and you only find them if you enter certain areas. understandably everyone just needs a positive direction to progress in life, but these gang / hood affiliates just look very out of date

it seems out of date to you cuz ganglife is different in UK and gangs have more of an history in America

@@cocolokoflacco In the UK we associate this type of gang culture with children. These "gangs" dress like children. Talk like teens. A bunch of adults dressed in oversized clothes surrounding a ice cream van. Smh, do better American blackmam

the greatest news ever! ⬇️ In the very beginning of time God created all & it was good, His plan was to have Him & His creation live in utopia. the satan deceived God’s creation so that wouldn’t happen, we choose evil. Evil has its consequences, death & hell separation from God for eternity is the consequence for disobeying an everlasting God. God doesn’t want that for any of His creation so He sent His Son Jesus(God in the flesh) & Jesus lived the perfect life. Died the death as a criminal, & resurrected, all so that we could have eternal life if we have faith in His beautiful sacrifice. This is God’s plan!!!!
