The crazy thing about this Group is all the songs are composed by their producer, a male but the songs catch very well the perspective of common girls of that age in a Japanese society... and he manages a variaty of music styles since rock, indie, love ballad, funk, ska, disco, etc, that's why this is one of the Most Popular Idol-groups in Japan since 1997.

" Kashimashi" is Okinawan dialect for Noisy. Joshi means "Girls" also possibly Okinawan dialect, but im not sure. Monogatari means "Story". So, this is basically "Noisy girls story".
