Maybe they should get a job? Most of the homeless are addicts that don’t want jobs and like living on the street. Help should be offered to them if they can’t get jobs because of criminal records or lack of schooling. If I ran the country, they would all be staying in nice hotels and picking up garbage around the cities for a paycheque. Then build more subsidized housing until they all have homes. The ones that refuse the system, put them in an abandoned town. Or prison

In my experience too many individuals confuse individual attention for intimacy. These are usually the folks that prescribe to goal post relationships where things become transactional. _You do this, this is supposed to happen._ When it doesn't, they feel angered, frustrated- like they've failed. 'Life would be great if I could only 'fix' this one thing....' Which is silly because thinking, living this way is NOT really living in a relationship with another. They're just acting out a trope of an ideal they've learned to get by, to get a desired result.These r also the folks that do not learn what intimacy is. Intimacy is achieved when we become close to someone else and are reassured that we are loved and accepted for who we are. Children usually develop intimacy with parents and peers. As adults, we seek intimacy in close relationships with other adults, friends, family and with a partner. It's reciprocal. A two way street. Being there for _each other_ , WANTING to be there for another NOT strictly on your own terms to achieve your own desires. And it's going to hurt, sometimes. That's just living life. All the good, strong relationships are built on a foundation of trust,support. Being _naturally_ all in for each other. I've found that an excellent first step in this process is to make sure the person your with, the person you desire is actually a person that you truly like.
