Oh my God all the people getting the vapors over the commencement speech by an NFL football player. SO EFFING WHAT?!?! He gave a speech in his private capacity, at the behest of the school, as a devout Catholic at a CATHOLIC SCHOOL!!!! If you don’t agree with what he said GOOD FOR YOU! But asking the NFL to FIRE him is INSANE! People need to get a grip. Go outside and touch grass people. People give speeches every day saying stuff I disagree with but I’m not calling for them to be fired. For God’s sake people.

I'm all for freedom of speech. However, there is a time and place with respect to people within your surroundings to express your opinions. In this circumstance, where most sane and respectful people presenting a speech at a commencement ceremony would encourage and boost graduate self-esteem for a bright and successful future, this young man took it upon himself to degrade and stifle the hopes and dreams of many, not all, women there who were graduating. In my opinion, it was quite disrespectful and unwarranted. He could have just as easily said, "one of the greatest, if not the greatest achievements a man can accomplish in his life is that of fatherhood." But...he didn't.
