I’m 54 , retired after 33 years of nursing. Took care of so many older ladies. The ones that aged gracefully, said they tried to take care of their inside and their skin. I agree, you can do as many steps as you want … or keep it minimal, but do it every day. There is nothing like seeing an 80 year old rockin’ her gray pixi , face youthful and glowy , and heading to golf, tennis, or the gym ! 😍

YES! I tell Chad all the time that age is just a number, and I really want to be as healthy and active as possible so that I can be one of those 80 year olds at the gym one day.

As I get older I am getting more and more into skincare Mandy! I recently started doing microdermabrasion facials and using medical grade skincare. Makeup can only do so much! It starts with the base!

Loved this updated video Mandy! I use an Essence daily too- my favorite is Beautycounter CounterTime Essence - the scent is so wonderful, it’s a clean line, and the ingredients are top notch for hydration I also love the Milk and Honey Cleanser you mention. And I love the Papaya Enzyme Cleanser from Revision. My new favorite is the EltaMD foaming cleanser

I've been waiting for this video. I started using the Beta Glucan Power Moisture Serum about 6 months ago. It works MUCH better for me than HA since I'm very dry and live in a very dry climate. My skin loves it. I think I have 95% of what you use LOL Your routine sounds normal to me!

Good morning! I love watching your skincare recommendations! I’m really liking most of the truth treatment items in the sample kit, I’m wanting to try the recovery serum from neogenesis next. Just curious, what do you think about using micellar water to cleanse the skin in the morning?

Hi Katrina! I think micellar water is a good option if you don't like a water cleanser. It still helps get rid of some of the gunk that has collected over the night. :)

I am loving my Alastin skin tint that you recommended. Scary to get skin cancer later on, from what we did when we were younger. We get checked twice a year, and lucky, we are good, so far. I’m 66, my husband is 74. And, we’ve been living in Florida the past 5 years. I got the Alastin restorative neck complex, and the Restorative eye complex. I only use these at night. While I enjoy them, I need more moisture for my under eyes. So, I use Shisedo eye cream in the morning. Only started getting Botox at age 60, just around eyes. Strange, I have no wrinkles in my forehead. I will try some of these products you recommend, when I run out of the above. And, I’ll look at the serums for dry skin. Thanks for the great content on these.

@@MandyDavisMUA love the tint! Can’t believe how great a shade it is too! And, moisturizing. A win! Yes, we are lucky. I never used tanning booths, or those mirrors and iodine everyone was using, back in my day. But as a teen, used regular baby oil. Who knew. Back then, there wasn’t even anything spf! Luckily, I lived in the northeast, so not a lot of summer there. But, scary, nonetheless, It hits you many years later, they say, if you get skin cancer.

Sorry for the multiple comments. I was one who hated sunscreen on my face. I’ve finally found 2 I’m in love with and use as my foundation. Alastin and Colorescience Flex!!! They both have the best coverage and don’t make my face feel yuk and sticky.

I always say I just want to look like a refreshed me. Then again I spent Saturday evening watching KZfaq, I got sucked in to watching vertical face lifts before and afters lol. I do have a pretty simple skincare routine, I struggle with vitamin c and tretinoin so I don’t use that. So I’ve been thinking of trying truth treatment and neogensis is definitely on my to try list. I do use red light and facial massage 3-4 times a week. At 52 I want to age gracefully and I’ll do what I can to do that but a facelift isn’t off the table 😂

I’ll be 44 next Sunday (April Babies/Taurus). Age is just a number when you take care of yourself especially within diet & exercising. My dentist complimented that I don’t look like I have 5 children because I look young, about 20 years younger. Wow 40’s is the new 20’s lol .

There is a line at Ulta called COSRX. They have a hyaluronic serum (essence) that I have used in my kit before and like. They also have some products with propolis which also helps. :)

Your skin is just radiant. Poor Chad having to deal with skin cancer removal - that can't be fun. I've tried three bottles of growth factor serums and can't say I've noticed any changes in my skin. I just started Revive growth factors ( a phenomenal price) and hoping I see a change. If not, the Neogenesist will be my final attempt. What benefit do you receive from growth factors? It may be like vitamin C for me - I see no difference but know it's a proven ingredient that may at least have preventative value. I love all the extra steps in your routine LOL. It's fun. I think you mentioned before that you get regular hydrofacials? I may do that for the summer and give my skin a break from the medical microneedling I've been getting from my dermatologist. I've seen a huge positive result in my skin texture from microneedling. Chemical peels scare the heck out of me but I'm curious what other aesthetic treatments you like to get. Thanks so much Debbie! I personally feel like the Stem Factors in Neogenesis are a bit different than other growth factors. I talk more about it in my dedicated video if you have had a chance to check that out. I do get Hydrafacials, and love them. And my aesthetician does lactic acid peels on me since my skin can be sensitive to glycolic and other acids, and it's great. I don't even physically peel from them, but they leave my skin so radiant. That may be something to check into starting out with. xoxo

None of the products that I used contain any added or synthetic fragrances. I try my best to steer clear of them in my skincare, and let it slide some when it comes to makeup.

Great recommendations love your videos! I was wondering if you heard of a skincare line called empinelle (not sure if I spelled it correctly) but it's for menopausal skin supposedly scientifically backed. I am well for years now been through menopause but it is very expensive just for 1 serum and 1 night cream. I am so tempted to try them but a little nervous and I was wondering if you heard anything?

I have heard of that line...I haven't done much research though so I can't say for sure what I think. I have heard people who adore it, and some who say it didn't do anything. But, in all honesty, that could be said for pretty much any brand. I will have to check into it further.

I like to watch Skincare Videos. I have to try the Sente Serum. Thank you for making such Videos. The most thing I hear when I tell people to wear sunscreen: Why there is no sun outside. 🤨 Do they think the sun is not shining? I‘m asking myself why they are making such small tubes of sunscreen. We should have tubes like Bodylotions for sunscreen ☺️

Oh I know...it's very frustrating to hear those excuses for sure. Even inside where the UV rays are coming through your windows. And I agree...it has to be a marketing thing to where you have to re buy more often as to why they make them so small. One thing that I think companies should start doing is telling people the correct amount to use each day. So many of the instructions say "apply to face 15 minutes before sun exposure". Well, then people go in and dot it around, getting 1/4 of what they need and not being fully protected. Can you tell I am super passionate about this? LOL

Hi there! I would definitely just reapply SPF and use the main skincare products after your first wash in the morning and at night before bed.

With most tinted sunscreen or non tinted ones I have to make sure they are cleansed well so water reaches my skin. But using cleanser multiple times a day takes all the little oil away from my dry skin😔 please recommend any water soluble sunscreen so it washes off without cleanser. And any other skincare advise for my condition will be much appreciated plz. 🌹

Hey beautiful:) Do you have any recommendations for slightly slanted but vertical lines on the cheek area? I am 39 but they are pretty noticeable especially when I have foundation on. Ugh!

Hey! I would maybe look into LED light therapy. I know that can do well with fine lines and wrinkles, especially if you don't want to go the filler route. And then a good retinol, exfoliator and antioxidant serum too. xoxo

Great video. I have a question. I bought some products from Briana‘s website back in early 2021. I have not opened them so they are still intact in their box. Do you think they are still good? Or do you think they expired?

Hi there! A lot of the skincare products nowadays have expirations listed on the bottom of the product or the box itself. I would check that out for sure. :)

My lids are red like yours. What do you use before applying makeup to even them out? Concealer always creases on my lids.

I do use a concealer. I use the NARS Soft matte concealer and have for quite a while. If I set it with powder, it doesn't crease at all. :)

All of the MDAIRE products are magical. And you have to trust them bc the founder (who is obsessive about her skin) ACTUALLY uses them. Makes me feel better spending my money on them. Haha

I have a question. How do you use so many products and still be able to apply makeup over them? Every time I try to use several products everything ends up sticky with little balls of product pilling up everywhere. If I want to apply makeup I have to go wash it off, which defeats the purpose.

I have never had issues with makeup balling up on top. I make sure I don’t do much buffing with makeup as that can tend to disturb the products underneath and create texture. And I typically only use one pump of my serums and moisturizers. I find the pilling can happen when too much product is used. Hope this helps!

NeoGenesis Recovery is $319??? How long does that last you? The average person can't shell out that kind of money for one serum. I must say you have gorgeous skin though.

They do have various sizes (3 I believe), and it is potent enough to be used every other day with great results. I get at least 2-2.5 months per bottle, and I do have a 20% off code. 😉

LOL...I guess that is subjective and relative to age. I could say a 30 year old is a baby, they could say at 21 year old is a baby and so on. I am just trying to preserve what I have for as long as possible. :)
