I wish Amazon would step up their packaging on the products… a big brown box doesn’t convey the product underneath. Amazon needs to take a page out of Apple’s book on packaging…

It went pretty quick, I will do an update here this week. Actually really like it. This is my second one though the periscope broke on the first one.

@@morningcoach Mine had some mapping issues but still pretty cool. Trying to justify the $1000 price tag is hard though. It seems to have a mind of its own in many ways. Stars roaming and returns to dock without me asking it to do so. I also can’t get it to work with multiroom music which is a major bummer. Return window expires tomorrow so it’s decision time.

Hi, thank you for showing the app. I have Astro still in the box until I move. Would love to see more of his app functions and setting up different things for him to do. I also got him for the home security.

Flip - just an update mine broke - the periscope won't come down - BUT this is good they are sending a new unit today, and they are taking this one back to go over the issues with engineering. It got stuck in the up position...

@@morningcoach I’m going to keep the pressure on regarding the Ultra. 😂 Also, would love to see a follow-up on the Kindle Scribe. I got mine a week or so ago and love it as a big ereader.

@@matthewrouse5860 I love the scribe as an eReader - note taker it is lacking in so many ways, but still LOVE the device. Been what I have been reading for a few weeks. Yes time to start using the Ultra instead of just wearing it. I love a large watch and I can see it much better, but need to test the health functionality vs the whoop and oura ring I wear those too! That is the Golden Tee Golf Game I have here at the retreat, I coach professional golfers so nice to have when they come in town. Fun for friends too - thanks for asking.

@@morningcoach thanks for the reply, that's a cool device! I thought it was like a huge Touchscreen for when you have presentations online (I've seen something where you make notes on a separate touch, so you keep seeing the people on the screen you're looking at).

Hey JB: Interesting! This is the way. The Industrial revolution started with steam power and the loom. So we are at the Robot revolution with Robots 1.0. I am sure the Jetson's Astro would have his usual comment for Amazon's Astro, "Ruh Roh." Happy holidays!

Well, we’ll see how it goes over a couple weeks could be pretty buggy but I think so far it’s working pretty good but it’s only been an hour or two
