I really enjoyed making the ‘making of’ for ‘my only love’, so i’ve made another one, here’s the making of ‘morningside’. I hope you like it!
Stream 'morningside' here: moby.la/morning...
'Morningside' is taken the new Moby album 'All Visible Objects.'
Stream 'All Visible Objects' here: moby.la/allvisi...
Moby makes generous regular donations from all music income to animal rights organisations outlined on the below link. The album track list can be found among them.
moby.la/avohomeYo
Over the last 10 years Moby has been donating 100% of the profits from most of his work to animal and human rights charities. His free film music site, mobygratis, his festival Circle V, his restaurant, and his last few albums have all donated 100% of their profits to animal and human rights.

You’ve got to respect the fact that he’s not sitting in some decked-out studio with all kinds of acoustic panels and million-dollar consoles glowing in the background. Just a guy...in his house...with some instruments...making music. Thanks for sharing, Moby! Please do another one! 👏

He has a big collection of gear (unless he sold it all), but being in a cluttered room can be distracting, minimising the studio with a select few items for now can help declutter your mind and help focus, the rest can stay in storage for another day.

I just listened to M"s audio book and moved to listen to music from this mind. Each song I listened to took me closer to all that is important in the world and released me from trivial mind trap succubus. MOBY such a special human being I am not sure of this realm. Gratitude for teaching us all your inspiration in this video. I head right over to my keyboard after watching. If not for my head and ears to play, for my soul. And tomorrow head to the ocean the greatest rhythm there is for the head heart and soul. Moby should forever live and glide along this earth influencing the ear and soul like the vibration of the glass harmonica and know his creativity through music touches souls and changes thier thought patterns from dark to light. If you reach one person to feel enchanted by your music seraphim; but you've changed millions. Live it! Know it. Keep on!

Moby, I used to work as a recording engineer in major label recording studios 15 years ago. Back then, I honored the policy of keeping interactions between myself and famous clients professional. I remembered one time when I debated with myself, "what if I do a session with Moby?" I decided then, I DGAF, I'd pour my heart out and straight up tell you how influential your music is to me. I now work as an automotive engineer, but I still enjoy watching videos about making EDM. Thank you for doing these how-to videos. I wish you would have made them available 15 years ago.

I have followed your work for years. Porcelain was my favourite song when it came out, and it's still my favourite. I've been to every concert you've ever given in Vancouver Canada. And not sure if you remember, but you and I chatted while you were on stage at the Vogue theatre in Vancouver, you kindly autographed your song list while you were on stage and gave it to me. I framed it, along with my concert ticket from that night, and it's hung on my wall ever since. You're amazing!

Thank you so much for this! When you listen to a Moby song you get some sense into what you think went on inside his mind and this insight of his creative process confirms (at least for me) my assumptions. Moby's music is lead first and foremost by emotion and experience and it was wonderful to hear it from the man himself. I truly hope this becomes a recurring thing.
