In our 7th year as a 100% volunteer department, Morningside continues to march upward - relentlessly. We are proud to serve the citizens of Morningside and greater Prince George's, proud to dedicate ourselves to the craft of firemanship, and proud of how far we have come. We were fortunate my Brothers from Squad 27 and Engine 251 (Phil Baker and others) were there for us in February of 1987 when my Wife and I were hit head on by a drunk driver in Clinton, Md. and my Wife required extrication. We were both hospitalized with injuries which could have been much worse. Both cars were totaled, the other driver walked away. My thanks and gratitude to Morningside and Clinton VFD and the entire PG County Fire Dept. for your professionalism, dedication and undying devotion to the Brotherhood!
