On this trip you’ll be heading to Marrakech, the heart of Morocco, where spices linger in the market air, the sun sets on street performers, and the senses are treated to a whirlwind of sights and sounds. Discover life in the sprawling medina or get lost in the alleyways towards the souqs. Marvel at the tilework found in the royal Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said or learn how ancient traditions are woven into the fabric of Marrakech; there’s more than one way to fall in love with this cosmopolitan city.
Morocco is a North African country renowned for diversity, and this is one of the things that make it such a fascinating destination to visit. It’s a place where one will find many cultural influences, and the landscape offers visitors a chance to experience the ocean, Atlas Mountain peaks and the Sahara Desert all in one go. You might be travelling to one country, but in Morocco, there is a whole world to explore.
In Essaouira discover how coastal winds and different tribes can shape a port city. It’s a melting pot with Arab, Berber and European influences. While the sea attracts windsurfers, culture vultures flock to the medina’s alleyways for galleries and a spot of people watching. The vibrancy found in the country’s cities is matched by life in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where visitors can swap people watching and fortified walls for hiking, folk music and stargazing.
Observe nomadic shepherds, hike through limestone river canyons, enjoy impressive views and Berber hospitality and warmth as you make Midelt your basecamp for the Middle Atlas Mountains. As the sun goes down on the soaring peaks, the stars will light up the skies.
If we’ve inspired you to explore this north African country further, head over to TourRadar for all the different ways you can discover a world of flavour, culture and history in Morocco.

Amazing and authentic experience Morocco was a memorable and magical experience made possible by Mohammed and Omar, our Moroccan tour guides. The tour company was extremely professional from the moment I interacted with them over email to when they dropped us off at the airport. They were extremely helpful in planning our trip by providing recommended lodging choices based on budget, accommodating our requests (which included an additional drive back and forth to Chefchouaen for an additional but reasonable cost), and responding to our inquiries in a timely manner. I saved so much time from doing additional research and looking for car service for my trip. Additionally, the value you get from the tour is so worthwhile for the experience and professionalism you get. They picked me and my best friend up at our Riad in Marrakech on time for our 3 day, which turned into 4 day excursion with them. Our driver Mohammed was such an incredible driver, and navigated the roads safely. Omar was so knowledgeable and genuinely wanted to share his culture with us. The two were very flexible and accommodated the stops to our liking. The various landscapes while driving are beautiful and give you a better taste of the country than just visiting Marrakech. The desert was a great experience and the Gorge was beautiful. The small gestures made such an incredible difference in our experience. Our guides let us takeover their music, offered tea and coffee at rest spots, danced in the car with us, made sure we got to our lodging safely even if it meant waiting several extra mins or escorting us directly to the front of the riad so we wouldn’t get lost, offered us snacks, gave us small tips to save money along the way (like buying nuts before seeing the monkeys vs purchasing them there which is significantly more). They were both also plainly just genuine human beings. I would see Mohammed giving away small things in the car to little children and Omar came back to our desert camp to hangout with us even though that was not required as part of the tour package. Both of them were both positive despite long drives and long days. I felt like we were traveling with friends versus people we just recently met. I will always remember my trip to Morocco fondly and wish to visit this beautiful country again!www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g293734-d13414285-Reviews-Camel_Trekking_Experience-Marrakech_Marrakech_Tensift_El_Haouz_Region.html

It’s not that I want to go, it’s that I need to go. I will be putting in a great deal of thought for the logistics in planning this trip. This will be manifested into reality. Watching this video has moved me in such a way. I’ve been doing research on religion. As I go through my research and view the places that are mentioned and extend out to understand what is being said further I find myself looking at Morocco. something about this place screams to me. Thank you for putting this video together and allowing me to see it in my home on the other side of the world. 🙌🦅🙌

Sadly the safety debate is held very much in black/white dichotomous thinking style. Fact is, that morocco still is statistically pretty safe. BUT: the problem with statistics is, they only tell us insights about the past. So the question always is: is the statistic still valid or have some things changed ? This is hard to tell in this case. For example regarding women travelling solo in certain remote regions (such as Atlas mountains) we have no reliable data since there are very few women travelling solo (probably for good reasons ?!) in those areas. Also we can see a rise of religious and cultural radicalisation in all arabic countries, also morrocco. For example in the cast of the murdered nordic tourists many people (around 18 I think) have been arrested. That is a high number for one single crime that indicates that quite a number of unknown terrorists/criminals are below the surface. This has been confirmed to me by a moroccan friend who studies politics and is quite aware of the situation. On the other hand Morocco is not Syria and I guess it is still rather safe overall. But again, we do not know so many variables so I personally would rather say: better safe than sorry ;-)

Wida Sacha morroco is in top 20 of the most safe countries in the world ( recent statistics ) the whole nation is hating on those 3 monsters not because they do give bad image about us but because murdering someone is just a horrible thing in our country that we can't accept that and the top of everything we are hospitalised people we love taking care of people who visit us ( we say the only visit you is people who loves you ) so this is against our culture coutume religion and gave bad image about us ...we feel very sorry of happened to us

Morocco can be safer than your country. All information giving here are wrong. Islam is the most peacefull religion, try to read the koran with open heart.

I live in the US, and the crime rate just in Chicago alone is about 85 a week!! So two Scandinavian died in a mysterious way makes the entire country a dangerous place.. oh wow! I just came back from Morocco and I had the best time of my life. A female traveling with other females. Nothing happened to us. Everyone was so helpful.
