The trick that’s helped me master dual forms is to just put the polygel middle of the nail down to the free edge then u should not have any issue with the cuticles flooding

I wish I had watched this before I attempted to use poly gel to do my nails! I'm brand new to doing my own nails and I used the technique of patting the gel out in the form and then placing it on my nail. I couldn't get it to work and I finally decided to buy full coverage soft gel nails and attach them onto my nails. So I have purchased all these products for both techniques 😂

you should explain that you need to cure the polygel in a full-size lamp after you flash cure. If people try to use the mini lamps by themselves, the polygel isn't going to fully cure, it's just not possible with those mini lamps. it can lead to developing allergies if uncured polygel touches the skin. also the nails aren't going to stay on if they're not fully cured, they'll either pop right off the natural nail or they'll snap off at the tip.

OMG I AM LITERALLY dying to try polygel nails!! I'm self taught, and not terrible at some things surprisingly! I definitely have a long way to go, but Iove creating looks that are my own... Polygel looks fun, natural, and a bit more easy than acrylic (which I currently suck at :( lol) I can't wait to have an opportunity to try this!! SALUTE NAIL WORLD!!

Oh my days ive tried acrylics they came out like lumps of concrete lol I’m self taught too been doing my own nails since I was about 13/14 I’m 50 now and wow how things have changed in that time I’ve tried and tried and tried polygel but I can’t put the clips on without squeezing all the gel out of the middle part of my nails drives me nuts lol 😂

The nail tips hack will save your life. U save so much product too. Just use the polygel as like a glue or you can spread the glue to shape a nail and either leave the tip on as a protector/paint over it or pop it off. I just csnt even lol

What I do is I get a little portable UV light and I put it in my mouth and I put the poly gel form on my nail and then I put the light on top of it so I have both hands available since the light is in my mouth haha

Most definitely this easy. I literally followed the French tip video and it came out perfect Polygel is we’re it’s at ❤ Everyone saying it not this easy I’m guessing they didn’t follow the step or look up any videos because I literally copied what you did when I wanted a French tip and got that I shocked my self since this was the first time doing my nail. All I gotta say to the people that says it’s hard is watch polygel videos before attempting to try it on yourself ❤

Exactly! About my 3/4th time using polygel and the struggle is always real! Takes me ages and I have to go in add to some areas, the lots of filing (which shouldn’t be necessary) but I do cause I never get mine even 😢😫😫😅

@@shaunzworld awww its okay! It takes TIME. Ive been doing polygel for like 3 weeks now and the application process got so much better. I just have to make sure my cuticles and filing are done right. Make sure u have a good drill and file (i like the manual files tbh) and yes it will take TIME in the beginning. It took me 8 hours when i first started but over the weeks i cut it down to 3 1/2 hours. Its POSSIBLE lol. Dont give up!

As someone who just started using polygel, it’s a lot easier to put a polygel bead on the plastic nail (not your actual nail) and then applying diagonally toward your cuticle and down, then the clip, then use the brush and slip solution to spread it, and then fully cure with a large UV lamp, don’t bother with the tiny ones. Even then I still will have trouble with my clips not holding the nail in place but this process has helped me more

There’s many correct methods. I wouldn’t say dual form is the correct way because your not getting the correct structure that way. Sculpting is the best way to use poly or acrygel or on a tip or over a gel full cover tip

Don’t buy it burns your nails off many occasions people have been posting about it burning the bills off and even if you take it off immediately it still wears down your nail and burns it off. Very painful don’t try. I hope that helps

what?!? I've used this brand of polygel multiple times and I have never had an issue with it "burning my nails off" like what does that even mean? is it possible that you have an allergy to one of the ingredients? I can't even picture what you're describing, tbh. I usually use polygel with tips instead of with the dual forms, but they're half cover tips so it's still touching my natural nail and I've had no issues. I'm thinking you might have a HEMA allergy or something....

You should make more of these. Paddie is using Morovan polygel in their videos and claiming it's their brand, when it's obviously not.

@@morovanofficial there are a lot of videos made by Paddie, and in every single one, they're using Morovan. I've commented on every video, letting people know that they're using Morovan and not Paddie. I haven't seen a Paddie video yet, that doesn't have Morovan being used and I see these videos, almost daily now.
