Video recorded in Morpeth, Northumberland by Luke Honeythunder on Tuesday 30th April 2024.
Camera - DJI Pocket 3, video recorded in 4K at 30fps (except the few clips that you see in slow motion which were recorded in 60fps)
As you seen in the video I had lunch at Emily's (Pleased to meet you) and it was delicious, it was my 2nd visit and won't be my last)
The statue in Carlisle Park is absolutely incredible is Emily Wilding Davison a suffragette who was killed when she fell under the King's horse during the Epsom Derby in 1913. Sculptor Ray Lonsdale has done a lot of magnificent pieces and I would say the most famous one is the WW1 Soldier "Tommy" which can be found in Seaham.
Here is a link to his site, why not click on it and go see all his work. tworedrubberthings.co.uk

The stepping stones over the river look great, not to be attempted while under the influence. LOL

I beg to differ, I would only attempt the stepping stones challenge WHILE under the influence. 🤪

Hello my friend, it is always good hearing from you, I hope all is well. A'hh yes Morpeth is a really lovely town in Northumberland only 30 minutes on the train from the Metrocentre (I live only 15 minutes from the Metrocentre) to pretty quick and easy for myself to get there. I love crossing the river via the stepping stones, every single time I have visions of me falling in but hey ho, it hasn't happened yet. 😀 PS, Just a few days ago I started a new channel here on KZfaq which I have called "Buskers UK". I love seeking out Buskers / Street Performers wherever I go. Just today I visited York and recorded 14 video's of Buskers which will be submitted over the next few weeks. Up to now there is only 7 video's on the new channel and I would be extremely grateful if you would click the link and go watch the video's and let me know what you think. Thank you, take came 🙂. www.youtube.com/@BuskersUK

@@lukehoneythunder Thanks, will take a look at the new channel. Used to visit a friend of mine who worked in the Metro centre area. The Skiff Inn was our usual meetup, so you may know that? Cheers!

@@WalksInCamera A'hh yes I have been in The Skiff quite a few times over the years. I just put another one up that I recorded in York on Saturday, the Britney song "One more time" . . . . . I don't think you would have ever seen or heard it performed like this before, you're in for a surprise haha. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ac6TrKqEy5nZdWg.html

Do you use a GoPro to record your video's mate?

I used to use GoPro's for a few years until last November when I invested in a DJI Pocket 3 which I use now but still carry in my backpack a GoPro as a backup.

Hey Mark my man, it's always good to speak with you. Aye Morpeth is a canny little town in Northumberland and takes only half an hour on the Train from the Metrocentre and the ticket was only a couple of Quid. I had a really nice walk around and it was really pleasant not having to step over wino's, smackheads and illegal begging scumbags in the streets as I do when I go to any big city in the land these days. Let's meet up soon and you can take Mr Honeythunder on a guided tour of Chester le Street, just divin't gan begging for an autograph or a selfie with him, as famous as he is he's not into any of that bullshit. 😀

Hiya Mark, last Tuesday I started a new channel on KZfaq and called it "Buskers UK" and it's doing canny so far, I thought it made sense to keep all the Buskers video's separate on their own channel. If you could click the link and come along and subscribe I' d appreciate it a lot mate. www.youtube.com/@BuskersUK
