Morris Minor 1000 Review

Today's drive is this the Morris Minor 1000 1098cc, powered by an overhead valve 4 cylinder engine that produces 48bhp and 60NM of torque the power is sent too the rear wheels via a 4 speed manual gearbox. If you are in the market too buy are Morris minor I would recommend that you by the 1098cc like the one you see in my video as its the most desirable car, there are other engines available such as a; 803cc with 30bhp and 40NMof torque, 918cc with 29bhp and 39NM of torque and finally the 948cc with 37bhp and 48NM of torque.
I have too say that this is one of the most memorable and exciting motoring experiences of my life, I hope that you enjoy watching the video.

I'm from America and I drive a 1959 Morris Minor everyday. They're really cool cars, but you can't get parts too well over here

Fabulous cars.I remember them as a kid on the roads. My friend had one. A Moris Traveller with the wooden frame. Try and get a Riley Elf or Wolsey Hornet. Also try a Ford Anglia if they are still about? A great video,Keep having fun!

The Morris’s is a fun car, the Morris traveller was the bigger version of the minor. The ford anglia is still about and so are the Wolsey hornet, they are some cars that I would like to drive. Glad you enjoyed the video. Regards Cormac

Fun to watch (mostly) but two helpful suggestions: 1) if you make a big statement (eg the smell is better), try to qualify it by telling us WHY it is better?, and 2) for heaven's sake get the camera the right way up! ;-)

Nice video! Trafalgar Blue is *the* colour for a Morris Minor... My first car was one 😝 Seems like the clutch was being weird on this car, I've never heard it make that noise. They're pretty straightforward, the only difference really is the pedal goes down into the floor instead of hinging forward from the top!

@@cormaconcars4224 Thanks! Oh yeah, I set many of my first records in my Minor... Fastest speed 85mph, longest drives: Dumfries, Edinburgh, Aberfoyle, Greenock... I even had it resprayed for £500, absolutely timeless bargain!

Austin morris is what u meant dude the same as mini and metro and maxi and rover and land rover. Would b better double clutching. Good vid tho.

ev bobdemon this is a Morris minor, because Austen did The metro and the minor. I didn’t need to double de clutch in this as it had a synchromesh gearbox
