I made the stew peas today and it came out great! The only things I did differently were to add some scallion with the peas while they were boiling, cooked the beef for about 2.5 hours because I was using a Dutch pot instead of a pressure cooker and left out the cornmeal from the dumpling. This was a definite hit though and glad I didn't have to worry about yuh tying us 😂.

I also put a little Foska oats in my dumpling mixture. It’s gives the flavor of any seasoning I put in the dough e.g. a little thyme, rosemary or garlic, etc.

Stew peas and rice flavoured with coconut milk is one of my favourite dishes...good job with the corned beef brethren!!....I am a pork lover so pig tails, trotters or corned hog head is awesome with some fresh stewing beef with it man...or for the traditional twist add a piece of smoked beef or pork or tribe or smoked turkey neck to it.....When I was a child my mother put oxtails and other meats in it ...it was an adventure!!...Brethren her stew peas made my toes curled!! I will be tuning in to see your other vlogs...thanks for sharing
