he’s an amazing lyricist who’s not scared of writing down exactly how he feels! we’re all individuals but the human experience from one person to the other is more similar than we think.
@thedeadxtras99273 ай бұрын
He’s always just written about real life, important issues that happen daily good or bad and not writing lyrics that don’t make sense or live songs saying baby baby I love you so much! His lyrics and voice are so humorous, witty and clever, not miserable and depressing which people who don’t understand MORRISSEY and The Smiths don’t understand what they were/are actually about. Even the songs that have deep meaningful subject are funny in many ways and written so cleverly.

Nice interpretation of the song .... Sad it isnt the original Smiths line-up ( as it seems to me ) The " polemics " about Morrissey being a racist , an ignorant , and so on - I like to see it that way : First is the art , second is what an artist says , or is citated , in interviews ; this is BESIDE the art .... its not in the centre however. I have absolutely no idea whether Morrissey or any other artist are to be considered racists, ignorants, drug addicts or whatever it would be.... - i try to consider them as artists, in the main sense of the term . - sorry my improvised english... Greetings from Limberg The Smiths were/ are legendary ... i collected their albums one by one , and still are for me one of the absolutely outstanding and kind of non- mainstream 80's music act / band...

It is not racist to not like the fact that ones homeland is flooded over with immigrants. Morrissey is a real person who speaks his mind and is honest about it, something that is rare in this world of fakes and useful idiots.

Sadly all the former fans here (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) I know, have turned against him, like one dumbass I know said she won't even listen to the Smiths anymore. God forbid someone disagree with the social justice fanatics. And of course they're all people who've never been to England, or not recently. It's easy to criticize when you're not having to live there and watch things deteriorate. He never said no immigrants should ever come to the UK. Just that borders exist for a reason and it makes no sense to just let anyone in. I hope he isn't, like, depressed because of how awful the media has portrayed him. (I know they always have, but at least in the US, they talk about him like he's basically Donald Trump and it makes me so sad.) Hopefully his ego is healthy enough to know anyone saying shit like that doesn't matter. Have you listened to "I Am Not A Dog On A Chain"? I love it. Unrepentant Moz. Anyway, just happy some actual English people agree with him.
