I still recall the excitement in the mid 80s rushing out to buy the latest Smith's record with its secret message on the inside. Seeing them was fantastic as was seeing Morrissey after the split. I still adore hearing him cry and whimper through songs like this. What a guy.

Some songs are just way better in studio version such as 'Speedway' and 'Now My Heart Is Full'. There are also songs that sound better live than the studio version such as 'Art Hounds' and 'World Peace Is None Of Your Business' (Gustavo's chanting at the end). 'Life Is A Pigsty' studio version is just too perfect to sing in concert.
