Oh, I love listening to Mort Sahl and Bob Costas! Sahl is right about strong people and groups. I heard Mort Sahl at his Thursday night salon in Mill Valley 6 years ago and I am so glad I did.

Leaving aside feminism, a hot potato subject if ever there was one, there was something Mort Sahl said which surely makes a lot of sense: "put my arm around her and take care of her". One proviso: the very same goes for women, we equally take care of the one we love. That is not condescending, that's how a good relationship works. Yet another fun Bob Costas offering.

This interview, more than any other Costas chat, seemed to have the host surprised or slightly confused by the comic's words. There is one almost tense moment where Sahl says "no no"
