Beautiful tune and performance. Bill Evans also kept working this tune (incl. with Tony Bennett). He blindsides Marian McPartland with the tune on the late '78 broadcast of "Piano Jazz" and finally sounds all of the contrary movement, alterations, anticipated phrasing and various possibilities of the tune in his astounding farewell performance in San Francisco, the week before his passing 9/15/80. It's on a 16-CD set, split into to 8-CD boxes ("The Last Waltz" w "Touch" on side 2) and "Consecration"). His last was a less "democratic" trio but it facilitated Bill's fullest expression of his piano skills and on a wonderful instrument recorded with accuracy and resonant fidelity.

Then there must be a couple other guys comping chords and filling bass line support behind Dave's bass solo. But all I see is a guitar player. Great playing Mort, as always!
