scorpion has like no mixups but god he’s so fun, it’s like he was just made for the air combat

I found his f4 to be useful for knocking people higher up into the air, specifically after a f3,2. Knocking them higher up to hit different more damaging set-ups

I've been a Sub-Zero fan since the first Mortal Kombat but I'm maining Scorpion this go-around due to Kuai Liang bearing the mantle and I'm having so much fun given how easy he is to pick up and play.

No matter who I try to main, I'm always drawn back to Scorpion. He was my main throughout every MK growing up and my only gripe this time is that it's not Hanzo

The flame move is just nice chip damage they can't do anything about. Using cyrax from full screen, do a net, then the enhanced ground fire. They're still blocking and take a little damage for free. Set that up, then swap to the spear after net after like 5 fires

The regular spear move (BF1) is high , and when u meter burn it it become Mid not just about the damage

Scorpion is a pretty balanced character.Doesn’t have mixups but has good ways to open opponents up with whiff punishes.He also can zone fairly well and has balanced damage.Fair frames for most of his attacks.Don’t think he should be nerfed right now.

Cyrax has a ton of utility with Kopter but the blockstring chip isn't broke by any means, they are highs and forward Kopter has tremendous damage scaling on hit. In fact it does less damage on hit than chip. If you Flawless Block before Kopter, you take less than 1.3% for them wasting their meters. Find the gaps in the characters you have ussues with and practice Flawless blocking, upblock punishing, and armoring out of pressure.

He has 2 different spear moves on the air, one hits closer and the other hits further away which is the one you used there and you can use both in an air combo If you meter burn them and easily get combos of more that 40% damage. It goes like this, once you launch the enemy, start the string meter burn into the close spear, KICK him further away meter burn the longer air spear and the finish the combo with a final air string, usually I do the one that ends with the throw. Problem with Scorpion is that he has no low or overhead starters. Don't think he need's nerf. He is very balanced in a way, he has good damage, but he relies a lot into the kameo and also can be hard to open the oppenet defense.

The characters are all good in their own way, they put alot of time and effort in their move sets I'm enjoying this game so much

Cyrax's helicopter blade should cost the whole meter, not half. It's too strong.

You can connect raising hell and falcon dragon i usually end it off with a combo or a jab then spear, then combo, pretty sick you can keep the opponent in the air for a while it lets you do whatever

Hearing UnderDawg nut in the intro got me acting unwise

The regular Kyo snag *can* extend combos, it's just the timing is tighter and the window is smaller than the enhanced version.

Enhanced devouring flame is perfect for ending a match if the opponent tries to run out time or needs one more hit to die but keeps blocking

I always use the enhanced back forward circle hen my opponent is close to dying because it’s garunteed

Scorpion has just become the beginners wet dream the last few games. I got so sick of fighting the exact same Scorpion build every single match in mk11 ranked. And that damn death spin is back

Scorpion is my favorite always has been and the one thing in this game is he has glaring weaknesses 1 mid starter with no range and an easily duckable high follow up and absolutely no mix unless you run the only low combo kameo in frost and the ice freeze scales the combos terribly, I just find it hard to open someone up with scorpion unless I use frost

I did not play this game yet sadly . Still mk11 but that meter fire scorpion. Isnt it when the oponent moves while on fire he get damage instead of standing still ? I did not read all the comments to see if somebody explained this already or not ....

I wish people would quit calling nerfs left and right. Sure there are characters that may need slight damage decreases on certain things but I'm seeing people left and right calling nerfs on all sorts of characters. At the end of the day it's skill that wins the fight. Just because you're really good at a character doesn't mean they deserve to be nerfed. If NRS really nerfs every character then the characters won't even be playable. I'm a scorpion main myself and I sure as heck am not calling for any nerfs for him

How do you get the flame gear?

How do you get the air combo to land? Every time I try to combo into an air combo, the opponents body falls way too fast for me to get a hit, and I hit jump and attack immediately after hitting them into the air.

I’ve maned scorpion since the beginning 1992 to be exact, but I hate him in this one he is a no threat you basically have to wait for somebody to make a mistake he has no mixups at all. He is basically a defense of character now he has never been that. And you can see his moves coming on mile away now he is so predictable.

They need to bring back his swords

Cyrax assist isn't the thing that makes Scorpion top tier. Cyrax assist is the thing that makes Scorpion playable on block. If there wasn't a way to keep himself safe on block, there would be hardly any Scorpion at high level play.

Scorpion it's very balanced but i think what he needs a buff, because he can't open the oponent defence and it's very dificult to him in competitive rounds (Bad english sorry)

I was a scorpion man in mk11 and I went into this game thinking I would main him again but his attacks and special moves feel slower to me in mk1😕

Flawless blocks reduces the clip to around 1%.

I'm only seeing like 10ish characters played online.

If u don't want to take the chip damage from scorpion,just let the last hit hit you and u take lesser damage,,or flawless blocks

I know that 99% of you dont play MKmobile but they added m1k scorp today and hes BROKEN, they made him deal more damage the more damage he does, and then if you kill him and hes done enough damage he just uses a meter to enter an invincible mode that explodes for high dmg when he finally DOES die. Pay to win and really dumb but thought I'd let everyone know

And cameos do not need a Nerf, because of the fact that you could easily knock them out with your character in one hit for like five seconds and they’re not usual for those five seconds based on how this game is you could do a lot if you know you’re doing Scorpions chip damage. Why do people complain about scorpion he needs chip damage because that death spin that you got that you guys are so concerned with it doesn’t have range anymore he doesn’t even walk forward anymore. You cannot complain about a move that you could easily punish if you’re using the right character my goodness and based on scorpions on teleport, it’s easily punishable now you can literally duck under it because it’s not a mid it might as well be a high, based on how this game looks from its design

Dude, scorpion doesn’t need a Nerf at all. He’s too slow to get nerf you know why because depending on how a person uses him all his things are still unsafe and he’s even more apparent punishable now than he wasn’t MK so he doesn’t need a Nerf if he’s he’s awesome, but he doesn’t need a Nerf and for Tania. She needs the cameo she don’t need to be buffed because her down on who uses her is unstoppable, and MK one has no limits to their bar meter regenerating based on attacking you could do that endlessly because it’s I think it’s considered a normal attack. It’s not a special attack so you could do that endlessly hurt it because that’s how effective certain characters in this game are if they’re used correctly all of them are
