mkx was the best mortal kombat for me. loved the darker grittier feel and you can tell they put more time and love into it. shit mk11 had 2 stage fatalities that weren't comparable to mkx with the old lady beating you to death or the kraken taking you down. I loved the horror dlc. everyone was amazing. now 11 I did thoroughly enjoy but honestly couldn't shake the constant feeling that mkx did certain things better. also the fatalities seemed more realistic and brutal in x

As someone who grew up with the PS2/originally xbox mortal kombat games seeing this generation of fighters return is a dream come true
