@@AnakinvoorheesIn his Arcade Mode ending, Fujin incarnates as a human multiple times, in various social classes, sexes, and situations, to improve his understanding of the mortal perspective on life. Like Nightwolf (and Scorpion after MK1's Invasion mode), there's now a precedent for a canon female version to appear (maybe playable) in the future.

Johnny always gets a laugh out of me. Though I still wish the intros were the same format as 10 & 11. 2 lines of dialogue aren’t really enough for funny banter or smack talk.

Ah, in aspects like this, MK11 was far superior...because it was more "Mortal Kombat-like", with a culmination of a story starting from MK9. This one is totally new, new timeline, "new " characters, so there is a disconnection...or lack of connection, or whatever. Also it was better that they had 3 lines, instead of just 2.

Kung Lao really is the most generic and annoying character in the cast, eh? It's also so sad to see the dislike around Nitara. Not blaming you two, but the butcher NRS has for a writer who completely misunderstood her and other characters.
