Homelander definitely does whatever the f**k he wants

2:49 9:14 Homelander with DBZ music is something I never thought I'd see put together. But just imagine Homelander in the DBZ world, and imagine he trains his ass off like the Z fighters do. Then when he comes back to the world of Vought, he's far more powerful than he once was, and he crushes Maeve and the other superheroes when they try to stop him. Imagine Homelander in the same level of power as a Super-Saiyan; imagine he wishes upon the Eternal Dragon that he gets Saiyan genes and becomes a Super-Saiyan. Then imagine he follows Goku's training routine to unlock the other SSJ forms, from SSJ 2, SSJ 3, SSJ Blue, among others. That attitude, with that much power, would be the end of the world. If Omni-Man had that much power, you'll live in a tyranny, but at least he and his Viltrumites would keep the lights on and keep society going so long as everything is stable. But Homelander getting that much power, that's a recipe for disaster on a galactic scale.

The fact that jet fighters were coming for Homelander in the ending only for him to laser them all is a reverse of the ending in the comic where jet fighters killed all the Vought superheroes. Then the Mortal Kombat demons from the Netherrealm invade. So not only did Homelander avert the ending in the comic where the Vought heroes are put down like dogs by the military, he also defeated an entire demon army and silenced any critics back home after he saved the world from the Netherrealm. So basically, his power is secure. But I suppose he doesn't care anymore since he's too busy rampaging in the Mortal Kombat universe.
