That's amazing! I have slightly similar memories; but damn 30 years is crazy when you stop and think of it. I do hope even if there's no new MK game; I hope there is something planned for the 30th anniversary!

@@eurke Same. I'm not going to tempt fate and take the 76, and burst out of the bus in the hopes that I could storm the gate, hoping to find something. There used to be an arcade not far from here: Dennis' Place For Games. It had genuine first edition cabinets for the first two games. So genuine, they still had the test ROMs in them, because Dennis' Place was a play testing site. It was also a great place to buy drugs. Needless to say, that entire building doesn't exist anymore. Now, it's a Blaze Pizza.

Although I played MK3 the most, MK2 was prob my favourite growing up. But MK1 was the first game of the series I played, and it's what started it all! :)
