Every reboot Johnny got better. Honestly I think this is the best Johnny cage of them all. Thoroughly entertaining with his quips, but also not too arrogant, and shows maturity when it matters.

@@blackdemonknight actually, I think him(and several others) are weaker for sequel purposes. Shang Tsung’s intros hint at several possible plot points for the sequel, including them going to his island. He also mentioned wanting to experiment on Johnny.

@@emperorjoker9240there are several plot points the sequel could follow up on, including: -Scorpion v SubZero -Shang Tsung being Johnny's nemesis (I guess?) -Chaorsrealm being the focal point of the story -Johnny/Raiden x Kitana -ofc, Johnny shooting a new movie about Outworld -Outworld in a civil war between Mileena and Shao I hope the devs explore these, but I wouldn't hold my breath tbh

Man, Johnny Cage is the best in last 3 MK games. I mean, I love his dialogues in MKX, MK11 and now in MK1. Cause he is just killing it. And I'm glad that they brought back Andrew Bowen for this role, because there is no one else who can do the best at voicing Johnny Cage. I mean, really, there is nobody, clearly NOBODY who could do better than Andrew Bowen, and I hope that he stays for this role forever because, come on! HE IS Johnny Cage! Sure, I know about Van Damme story, that Cage were inspired by him, but even as a Van Damme fan, I can say that Van Damme did not nailed it as Cage better than Andrew Bowen. Doesn't seem like none of them hate Johnny, even the evil ones they just tolerate him, but they don't want to kill him. I think they find him amusing or they find him delusional, but either way, Johnny just has such a personality that they can't deny a lot of them has some sort of respect for him. He may be immature, but he's very skilled and can talk his way out of anything.

I love Johnny Cage so much in the last few games but he is so funny in this game. Like all the references like Indiana Jones and Aliens but my favorite by far was his intro with Rain where he says Here Comes The Rain Again And Rain says I'll Fall On Your Head Like The Nuem Ocean Which is a reference to one my favorite songs by the Eurythmics called here comes the rain again Where the lyrics are Here comes the rain again Falling on my head like a new emotion This game is so genius
