I love the irony that Shang Tsung was so angry at himself for being "so blind" that there were other timelines when it was his doppelganger who indeed figured it out in the first place.

I love how in Liu Kang’s New Era, he not only brings Geras back as the steward of the Hourglass, his counselor and friend, but he treats him with dignity, care and respect. When Kang kicks Nitara off Geras, he says “Heal quickly, my friend” and physically supports him (Geras) back up. Whereas Kronika would’ve just left Geras to get shredded apart and resurrect on his own, a cycle that nearly drove him mad. Although the Hourglass is obviously at stake here, I think it’s great to see how much Liu Kang cares for everyone, from mortals to Gods, even constructs like Geras. Kudos to NRS for some great character development in this game

In one of the dialogues before the fights, Geras admits that Liu Kang is the closest thing he had to a family.

When Liu Kang was shouting something when he was releasing his dragons, that reminded me of MK11 Mobile Raiden who also whouts "Un Dab-Da!"

There’s still that ending in mk11 where liu kang and kitana both become keepers of time. Given how both mk11 aftermath choices became canon, I wouldn’t see how that one isn’t either, along with the tower endings in mk11.

Dominic Cianciolo is the one, my guy, even though probably Ed has some inputs... But I can understand. 30 years of just punctual moments, a single hug, a single eye contact, a single kiss... 30 years. And by the looks of it, I don't even know if this couple will be portrayed again. What we expected in the future was how Liu Kang and Kitana would fare as a couple, how would be the dynamics between them, as an Earthealmer and Outworlder, how would they face adversities and threats together as a couple... But now, in this new era, I think it won't ever happen.

I wish we got to see more of Titan Shang Tsung’s timeline. I know it seems Shang Tsung had absolute power in that timeline, and all characters seemed to serve him, but I wonder if there was any resistance to him.

i doubt anyone resisted him since he shaped that timeline for his benefit forcing everyone to obey him unlike liu kang who let everyone decide on their own whether to follow him or not

I wish to see more anout Union of Light. I suppose the realm suffering more and more ivasions of the Dark Forces, seeking destruction and enslavery. Exactly, what will next ones gonna do? ⬇️ If we have some guys like Good Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, Sirdar Shao (neither General nor Kahn) and his loyal Saint Reiko, Sindel, Nitara the protector, Lin Kuei Sub Zero, Shirai Ryu Skorpion, Demigod Liu Kang of Fire, Great Hat Kung Lao, Thunder Titan Raiden and at least Havik the Liberator of enslaved?

They were. In MK11 AFTERMATH when he wins and we see Raiden and Fujin appear to him they tell him about the realms yet to be conquered. So they were.

13:06 I may suppose they had some kind of restoration spell within their magics against Shang Tsung's destructive one, but... Couldn't they make the chapter like this ⬇️? Titan Shang Tsung casts the destructive spell at the Hourglass, but from the half to the end, when it starts cracking Geras is struggling against Shang Tsung in Energy Clash (like in Dragon Ball), and in the end the rest of the heroes alongside Liu Kang cast their spells to drive the clashed energy to Shang Tsung and the destructive spell on the Hourglass disperses. Dōda? (How is it?)

Shang Tsung restarted the timeline, just like Liu Kang. So he recreated everyone, but made them his followers, which includes Liu Kang. I guess he also made him a fire god

He killed the last timeline’s Liu Kang in his Aftermath ending, then after resetting the timeline, made gods like Fujin and Raiden his followers/enforcers. And seeing how much more powerful Liu Kang was as a god, it makes sense that Shang Tsung would’ve brought him back in that form for his own New Era. But of course, as one of his minions/underlings

If this is the same Kitana that Liu Kang has known for most of the series, how are they keepers of time in different timelines? Or how does this Kitana even exist when Kronika restarted history back in MK11? Also who exactly are these Kung Lao and Raiden? Are they the same ones from MK11 as well? How would Raiden around if he’s already merged into Liu Kang? Or that they are all separate time keepers?

They are the same from the OG timeline but when Kronika was beaten the hourglass split into different timelines where everyone and anyone could be a time keeper. Kano, Sindel, Geras, Jax literally anybody

If you actually payed attention to the dialogue, Liu Kang and Shang Tsung flat out state that the battles for the Hourglass released huge amounts of energy that ripped apart the fabric of time and diverged it into countless timelines where the outcome of the battle was different, hence why Kitana, Kung Lao, and Raiden are the Keepers of Time as they are the ones who defeated Kronika instead of Liu Kang in their respective timelines, so just assume that all the character endings from 11 are canon through the many timelines, like how Kuai Liang Sub-Zero became Keeper of Time and redeemed Bi-Han in his timeline, or Hanzo Scorpion trying to save his family but failing before discovering more Titans and going full GoW3 Kratos on them in his.

Because apparently, taking back the Time powers cost Liu Kang his immortality. He's still going to be around for a long time, but the moment the time line ends up having to be renewed, he's done.
