Johhny's fatality where he tries to uppercut his opponent 3 times and fails is a refference to his tripple uppercut fatality glitch from MK2 where if you input the fatality again and again fast enough he would uppercut his opponent three times and there would be three heads lying on the ground. In MK 11 he also has a brutality that is and exact replica of his triple uppercut glitch

A fun fact for you in case you were wondering: Scarlet is essentially a Blood Mage, or if you've seen Avatar The Last Airbender then you could say she's a Blood Bender except she can do it all the time. So because she has the ability to freely manipulate blood she's able to rip the blood out of people and use them as weapons, or in one case you saw FORCE blood into her opponents body to overload them.

MK shows how immersion is important to create feelings in the players. Despite being a very brutal game, he never caused me any distress because my focus is always on winning the fights. But there are simpler games that make me look away easily

Erron Black: from earthrealm but traveled between realms as a bounty hunter and i believe at this point in time still under the employ of kotal khan Kotal khan: osh'tek general who if i remember correctly served under shao khan, after his death he overthrown Mileena and took over outworld as its new khan. Kollector: i have no idea about him but he worked for shao khan so that's all i know. Frost: was a student of sub-zero but let her ambitions cloud her judgment and tried to kill Hanzo Hashasi (scorpions real name) when he came to the lin kuei temple to speak with Kuai Liang (Sub-zeros real name) Noob Saibot: wreath created by the sorcerer Quan-Chi by using the soul of Bi-Han (the original sub-zero and Kuai Liang's older brother) Centrion: Elder Goddess of Virtue. She can controll the elements. Hope i didn't miss anyone. There is actually a updated version of the fatalities with the DLC Characters from Kombat Packs 1 (Nightwolf, Shang Sung, Sindel, Spawn, The Joker and T-800 Terminator), Aftermath Exspansion (Fujin, Sheeva and Robocop) and Kombat Pack 2 (Rain, Mileena and Rambo). Kotal Kahn is what's called an Osh-Tekk, a race modeled after aspects of Aztec gods. Most of the classic characters had a fatality that was an updated re imagining of the classic fatalities they were known for back in the day; like Sub Zero's Spine Rip or Johnny Cage's Triple Decapitation Uppercut.

In the MK universe, he was actually worshiped as a god by humans on Earth back in the day, and he (Kotal) drew strength from the consumption of blood. He felt extreme guilt and grief when ordinary humans started to emulate him, trying to get the same results. He watched them destroy themselves, all the while trying to show them the error of their ways.
