I’d say the only disappointing ones are sadly with scorpion and sub-zero. They’re good, but I was hoping for some resentment for being killed unjustly. Also some of Kuai-Liang trying to turn his brother back to the good side

There was alot of potential storylines that should have been expanded for each character(s). The way this story ended they could have at least given us more than what we got, but most of the characters were for sure wasted.

I mean considering that at the end of MKX, Raiden has gone off the deep end, and threatens both Liu Kang and Kitana that if they were to ever interfere or attack Earthrealm, he would show no mercy to them, or their allies. Come MK11, and it seems that that was gonna be one of the major threats, and Raiden is now more than willing to sacrifice and kill to protect Earthrealm. But then Kronika comes it, and has past versions of various Mortal Kombat Characters appear in the present day, which, SOMEHOW causes Dark Raiden to be erased from existence, and a younger Raiden appear. Now, too be fair, Raiden did establish that because he's immortal and time doesn't affect him. But in my eye that's a pretty lousy and frankly lazy excuse to remove Dark Raiden out of the equation. Especially since there could've been an interesting conflict between Raiden and Dark Raiden. Both wanting to protect Earthrealm, but both having different ideology. One is king and compassionate, and will only kill as a last resort. The other is more aggressive and is willing to kill and sacrifice in order to protect the others. This could've been an interest story dilemma, where Raiden seeing his future self going down the deep end, which could've led to the two fighting each other to see who is more fitting to protect Earthrealm and it's inhabitance. But no, Dark Raiden was seen for less than 30 minutes, Kronika messes with time, past Raiden enters modern day, and Dark Raiden disappears shortly after Johnny, Cassie and Jacqui meeting young versions of Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, and Jax Briggs.

No Sub Zero/Scorpion chapter or Triborg, and their relationship with Bi-Han, Shao Khan being a massive jobber, Frost, Noob and Erron Black having no relevance to anything, cheap deaths, and Kronika being a massive plot hole everywhere. All of that just to basically reset MK's timeline again lol

@@lovelish Because Kuai is able to recognize is that Quan Chi and Sektor (who's the real sellout) is the real reason his brother is dead, Scorpion initially spared Bi Han, only for Quan Chi to worm his way into his head and misdirect his vengeance. On top of that Kuai knows and understands the need to cease the endless and pointless cycle of bloodshed and slaughter, as both Lin Kuei and Shirai Ryu were fucked over big time because of it.

Kuai Liang was still an assassin and still did the same awful things ( considering he was still working for the Lin Kuei) so he bares the same evil as Bi Han. Yet, he does not try to save his brother and actively disowns him when he too was under Quan Chi’s evil. Bi Han is the better brother but unfortunately it’s because NRS has terrible writing. Btw Bi Han is strong than Hanzo and Hanzo is stronger Kuai Liang. You check their fighting records and it checks out.

Either way you both should hate each other in a insensitively sinful way Bi Han and Kuai Liang detest each other

IMO it's also interesting how it seems he attempts to defuse hostility, i.e. he doesn't want to fight Cetrion. The intros seem to frame her as the one who's sought him out. With other characters Bi-Han usually insults them and expresses his intent to kill / inflict suffering. He's become an utterly cold, malevolent wraith but his reluctance to battle Cetrion (an Elder God and Shinnok's sister) implies his arrogance has limits. I interpret his approach as pragmatic self-preservation: he'd rather back away than risk (certain) destruction.
