100% Kano is going to betray them, IF he's even on their side to begin with. Which I don't think he is. Notice how all the characters say there own names and introduce themselves, EXCEPT him. Sonya says "that's Kano", cause someone probably asked who he was after seeing him, not cause she's introducing him as part of the team. Also we can see at one point Kung Lao is fighting and deflects a red laser beam with his hat, and red lasers are what Kano uses.

The scene in the trailer with Kung Lao deflecting some sort of laser beam off his hat makes me think Kano will betray them or something because the laser beam looks like Kano's eye beam. Movie looks incredible

This will be the PERFECT MORTAL KOMBAT movie, if it includes the 1995 OG theme song and Johnny Cage, at some point. Jax, however looks perfect, and the actor playing him, is a good and polished actor, so most are probably underestimating his acting skills but, hopefully that can be his advantage, if for nothing more than an advantage at a nomination? Guess we'll see lol

Seeing him summon the giant fire dragon is super impressive as LIU KANG apart from transforming into a real dragon and fire dragon can also create a great fire dragon. I only watch the LIU KANG movie. I hope to see LIU KANG fight a lot. He has always been my idol. Ludi Lin's wardrobe looks great but LIU KANG is characterized by being bare-chested and that's why Ludi Lin struggled and worked hard for years to be muscular like LIU KANG. I would like to know how Ludi Lin prepared to act LIU KANG in what way he studied and investigated it. I would like Robin Shou to act like LIU KANG's father as a memory or a ghost. The fight must be LIU KANG vs SHANG TSUNG, not the latter against another character. KUNG LAO must fight GORO. Jessica Mc Namme has a beautiful ass just like Sonya Blade. For the next movie they should include mk characters that were unpopular but have a lot of potential to exploit like for example Hsu Hao, Dairou, Hotaru etc they could offer a great fight to the death and die in a spectacular and impressive and unforgettable way because if the game did not give them the opportunity to have a good development the film will give it to them. I'd like Victoria Justice to be Sheeva that she first appears in her human form and then transforms into a sexy, scantily clad beast.

Jax lost his arms to Goro or one of the Shokans in the original lore, from what I remember, before Ermac ever came into the picture. There was also a version where he lost them to Baraka. But, you know how the Mortal Kombat storyline is; after the original two writers left the property and Boon sold over the rights of the franchise, a few different writers came in who didn't agree on key details, and that's how the storyline kept changing over time. What's canon and non-canon has always been up in the air. Jax has lost his arms in about 4 different ways now kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mrKUfrh_vdzTd6s.html but imo, the Sub-Zero explanation makes more sense...as to how he could've survived it such a thing.

The trailer makes me feel that Sub Zero is gunna be the main bad guy rather than Shang Tsung. My understanding is that in some of the previous MK's Sub Zero had the mission of assassinating Shang Tsung, I wonder if that is involved this time.
