This game is so broken but it's the game that added new life to the mk series. I played it a lot back in the day. It has an amazing roster and an outstanding soundtrack; the stages are also great. I like that stage where Shao Kahn is sitting on his throne and there's a huge dog standing by him. You don't see this same level of crestivity in the newer mk games. Mk 9 definitely deserves a remake, hopefully it will happen one day.

This game had the best roster, best Music, best-Faster combat and best features. But the stupid story(third part especially), and cheap-ass Shao Kahn is the only issue it had. I say each games improve a bunch of stuff, each had its own issue. But Im still prefer MK9 as my personal favorite.

I remember clearing out countless King of the hill lobbies online, this game def my fav MK and the only 1 I put a lot of time into learning most characters at a decent level wish they had better netcode or remastered it for PS5 with better online servers it would be fun I'd pay full price for it tbh

This game has better responsiveness for some reason. Therefore much more snappier, on point and by far more fun to play. Mkx and Mk11 not so responsive, even when I toggle the settings. It's like they do what I want them to do milli-seconds after I press the button making it harder to win matches. The CPU opponent is quick while I am so slow. It's so infuriating.
