This movie is definitely a guilty pleasure, something I can turn on anyday and let it play

I just watched this movie again last night and it wasn't so bad. Some parts are cringe worthy but overall its entertaining, if you're a real MK fan and not really picky. The acting needed more work and fight choreography, but other than that it was alright.. not all crap like everyone says. We have to appreciate all the hard work that went into making it, also to Robin Shou and Talisa Soto for returning and making it what it was.. also the guy who played Shao Kahn did a tremendous job

I've read some interesting (and often conflicting) reports about the film. This is what I've gleaned from them: -Evidently it was a nightmare to shoot due to a rushed schedule, and the director (who worked on the first film as the cinematographer) was overwhelmed by the whole experience. Lead actor Robin Shou also wasn't even able to film all of his fight scenes because he was being stretched so thin on-set. (In certain scenes, Liu is actually played by Tony Jaa in wideshots, with Shou just shooting closeups.) -At the tail end of post-production, the producers realized that the film just didn't work. They wanted to delay the release by six months to comprehensively re-edited the movie from the ground up (plus, they didn't have enough time to finish most of the special effects, and the extra six months would have helped them tremendously), but rather than delay the film, the studio vetoed the decision and made them release it as it was. -There were also several major deleted scenes, and even an alternate ending that all got cut for different reasons. The main producer wanted to put some of them back into the film, but they just couldn't due to the strict deadlines set by the studio. Would it have saved the film if they had postponed the release to re-edit the film, fix the effects and put the deleted scenes back in? I don't know. It probably still wouldn't have been a good movie, but it might have at least been more coherent. Still, as bad as it is, I've got a bit of nostalgic love for _Annihilation._ It's silly and ridiculous, but it's fun to watch just for how bat-shit crazy it is.

The actors for Shao Kahn and Raiden both have been in Van Damme movies. Brian Thompson played evil henchman "Russell" in Lionheart, and James Remar played heavyweight boxer "Maxie Devine" in The Quest.

Man, so many people working hard behind the scenes for a film that was totally bunk.

Its great to see Ray Park in action as Raiden double, that fight was actually pretty sweet, i know it was overdone but its actual people doing the stunts.

I have legit been looking for some kind of behind the scenes footage for this movie for years now and none of the DVDs I've bought have had anything other the movie and subtitle options and I found nothing online. I don't know why I wasn't able to find this video until now but I'm glad I did. This video made me so happy seeing how much they put their all into this movie. I love this movie even more now

Finally i saw the shooting of my most favourite movie Mortal Kombat i rememver in my childhood my deep fantasy was to do a time travel and go back to that time and watch and feel the shooting of mortal kombat but that was not possible but now finally i watched this...

I was a kid when that movie came out... I loved it. my only problem was that sonya was too much of a jerk to jax,not enough sub-zero, and raiden's haircut.

This mortal kombat movie is a masterpiece it features more action more character development and a lot of adventure,more cool characters with cool costumes and better dialogue ,mk annihilation is way more better than that first mk film, the first one was ridiculous. this was the mortal kombat movie i was looking for all these years.😁👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I didn't care what anyone said I loved both of the mortal kombat movies from my childhood when I was 7 or 8 years old the one who played Jax was a little funny, though I didn't like how Johnny cage died, or there wasn't much sub-zero in it, and scorpion not appearing again but nevertheless the action and soundtrack to the movie was my favorite and worth it.

Where can I find the deleted scene with Quan Chi?

“I don’t care how you do it”. That was basically the mentality of everyone making this movie.

If you're learning Spanish from this video; take note, some of the subtitles are technically correct but they do not always translate what the people are saying in the footage probably because the translator misheard the audio.

I love this film, and I don't give a damn that it's bad (the only thing I can't forgive is Johnny Cage). It's still better than many much more successful films nowadays that look soulless. Filmmaking, in general, has gone to the dogs in recent years.

Annihilation was not as good as the first movie but still I liked it as I am a big fan of the games. Comparing to the new version that was released recently, first two original movies were awsome, a litlle cringy but the games also were like that.
