I saw MK1 at the theater and adored its soundtrack. It made me a metalhead. I only saw MKA on VHS, but i also loved its soundtrack. To this day I listen to both soundtracks everytime I watch both movies at home.

Sindel's banshee scream goes so well with this song.

A few things Things I hated about this movie; 1. Kitana is supposed to wear blue not black. 2. Raiden is weak and doesn't look or act like Raiden from the games. 3. Johnny Cage dies too quickly. 4. Shao Kahn takes off his helmet too much and he looks puny, and laughable. 5. Rain Dies before we even see him fight or use his abilities. 6. Ermac is supposed to have telekinesis NOT the ability to make a shadow clone. 7. Why do Scorpion and Subzero only have one scene ? 8. Why Does Jax have to act like he's from the hood ? 9. The actor who plays Shinnok looks nothing like the character he's playing. He like a sexually frustrated Undertaker. 10. Just a suggestion: Why not put more names in the song?

Random story: I was hella hype when this movie came out on ppv! I remember asking my uncle if he could buy it and I would tape it on the vcr, and he did. Well, I dunno about today, but back then you could order a ppv movie and watch the replay all damn day. So, I dunno why the hell, but I kept fucking up the recording for various reasons (timing, speed, etc...), and, well shit, I had nothing else to do, so I literally watched this fookin thing at least 4 or 5 times in a row (all gaddamn day!!). Finally, the last showing I managed to record perfectly on the last try. Shit, I think I knew the entire script by heart by midnight. It obviously has MANY issues, but fuck you guys, I enjoyed it plenty as a kid 😂
