@@94XBlackXEyedXPeas this perticular movie's universe has shown nothing to persuade us that a good guy can come back. Raiden cannot intervene or resurrect people, but Shang Tsung can. I know the bad guys will come back, but the movie hasnt shown us how a good guy / mortal can actually return.

Maybe to add on to your idea, that mileena actor can become jade herself, which means there's 2 versions of mileena, one copied from jade and the other copied from kitana. I know this would mess up the whole mortal kombat canon but it's not like the mcu was 100% accurate

The problem with that is that those characters in this movie weren't even characters, they were more bodies. Reiko is usually a smart general type character in the games, and he DOES look like this, but this guy just acts like Bane in Batman and Robin. And all Nitara did was get fed to a hat and make Kung Lao more awesome. She didn't even have her eye patch. And I'm disappointed they didn't throw Reiko's body into the pit from the games after his head got crushed. Why even bother setting it in the pit, then?

@@Alecfisher01 Yeah, to be honest I don't think they're going with the eye being the SOURCE of his laser beam. Never use game canon for a game movie until you're CERTAIN they plan on following the games to the number. In fact in the first game he didn't even HAVE a laser eye, just the plate. So if Arcana makes your weakness a strength, like Kano's eye or Cole's human punching bag powers or Jax's arms, then I bet them adding the plate makes the laser an even WORSE problem. Consider this. After Sonya hits him in the eye with a bottle of acetone, his laser still TECHNICALLY works even though his eye itself is now basically gone (it TRIED to fire but instead it just electrocuted him). That means all he needs is a new eye to focus the beam through. Cue the metal plate eye. That's damn good Mortal Kombat logic. And even if that's what they DON'T do, I still basically wrote it before they did. So if that ever happens in an MK movie, remember whose idea REALLY was.
