PART 5: With this chapter of Mortal Kombat's action figure history, we break down all things made by Mezco Toyz! Mezco would be a natural fit with MK as most of their toys...erm..collectibles, were already geared towards adult collectors. What would the roster look like with so many options to pick from?

Heard Ian’s voice and had to double check what channel I was watching haha. I missed the Mezco stuff - I always liked how it looked, but I just never grabbed any of it. Although, I regret missing the 12” Sub-Zero and Scorpion, when I saw those I don’t know why I didn’t pick them up. Looking forward to seeing a potential Storm/McFarlane video. Storm’s MK line is my favorite figure line going at the moment, it’s so good.

It's a shame Mezco didn't do more with the MK line. I'm in favor of Jazwares getting the license one more time, especially given how excellent the AEW and Fortnite lines are doing for them. They've definitely come along way from the older Jazwares action figures.

My local Toys R Us in Riverside CA had that Jakks Exclusive Raiden for so many years on the peg that the Mezco one was stocked right on the next peg. It looked so ridiculous.

Done after just 2 waves. FeelsBadMan. If another domestic company ever gets the liscense again, I hope That Mattel gets it. I have a feeling that they would do much better than say Mcfarlane Toys. I always look at their MOTU line in terms of what they could do with Mortal Kombat figures.

I honestly wouldn't mind Mattel getting the rights. They could do a MOTU Origins style 5.5 inch figures that are based on the original Mortal Kombat games. Meanwhile, their 7 inch can draw more from the later games. I'd be down for that.
