All great, really cool seeing it evolve throughout the years. Deadly Alliance's was unique in that it didn't show you everything right away, it just barely hinted at the next fight. It could give you the feeling of dread knowing you're fighting Moloch next.

No, in fact the tower from Mortal Kombat Unchained was based on the tower from the Beta version of Mortal Kombat Armageddon. So the animation is Blaze's own, not Onaga's.

Playing on arcade mode going up the ladder is like riding an elevator in a building with no stairway. The only way to go down is to lose.

It's funny how the Mortal Kombat arcade mode ladders are never,ever skyscraper sized. If only Mortal Kombat had more characters than it already has, then this game could hold out for a possible survival mode if the makers of the game could make it cut out for it.

I always loved MK2's ladder because it's complete. And I also like MK Trilogy, MK Gold, MK vs. DC (although I never played that one), MK Armageddon, MK9, and MKX ladders. I've yet to play MK 11.
