I never watched Lizzie Maguire growing up (Cartoon Network kid right here, growing up in Atlanta), but if the revival WAS going to focus on more mature themes, then it would be in the same category as Avatar, The Mandalorian, and even Avengers: Endgame!! So I'd be down for that!! And besides, a recent episode of Raven's Home (which I 💘) focused on Booker, played by Issac Ryan Brown, becoming addicted to vaping, and that to me falls in the "mature theme" category, even if it was just for one episode!!

I know a lot of people might say no it's been done before and yes that is true but this Mortal Kombat movie news your putting out there for us really has me hyped up. Mortal Kombat is my favorite video game next to Resident Evil. The Disney+ news concerns me a little cause I was really holding out hope that the main reason for the cancellation of all the Marvel TV shows on Netflix meant that Disney+ would be taking over eventually. But now I'm thinking with all the blood, gore and swearing, especially in the punisher, I doubt that'll happen. And that makes me sad!

Clicked for MK!!! Anything MK, horror or DC you do I'm there!! I think they can easily make a Cinematic Universe from MK, I mean they've done it with Conjuring with only a few characters. Like you said, MK has TONS to choose from, time periods, timelines from the games they can use, the comic stories, prequels it's endless and now in the MKU they literally have like 100 characters roughly if not more when you total every game from 1 to MK 11 and that'll only get bigger once MK 12 hits.

what would also be dope if they did like a 1 season show leading up to the movie and each episode would be the backstory of 1 or 2 of the characters and have each episode building up to where the film starts. which will also only increase box office sales for the movie when the fanswho watched the season they get to see the big build up and pay off when they go to see the movie

For the Sub Zero part especially I need to know if hes really important or hes just treated as the other guy often and its tiring. Especially knowing that his nemesis the bad guy is more popular than him to the extent of being the mascot/logonif Netherrealm. So at this point I'm not sure how to feel about this movie at all.

I feel like Disney plus is about to lose people with keeping it to pg I got it and watched a lot of stuff at first but now just my younger brother watch it and that’s about it and I’m still paying for it and there’s nothing on there that’s interesting me anymore that love victor would have kept me on and with the more adult Lizzie McGuire would have definitely kept me they could do it like Netflix’s kids mode so those don’t pop up for younger kids but I don’t think I’m keeping it anymore I’m just not into today’s Disney shows

They're probably not going to announce a Sonic sequel until Sonic 2020 is a success in China and Japan; Japan is a big industry for Sonic, China is a big industry for movies. Sonic 2020 hasn't come out in those countries because the Coronavirus.

Without reading a script or seeing the episodes we don't know just how in-depth Lizzie McGuire was going to get. Those shows did acknowledge certain mature elements, but danced around it in a way that was still family friendly.

It’s strange that Disney would remove a reboot that deals with Sex and Cheating, But if you look at Disney Channel and their movies, they also dealt with other serious subjects that didn’t get removed or censored. Like how That’s So Raven had an episode about Racism, Andi Mack had some LGBTQ content and a main character that was gay, and now we have an upcoming episode of Raven’s Home that deals with Vaping. Now we have movies like Coco (dealing with death) and Inside Out (dealing with mental health) and those movies were praised and not outraged by the public. So I don’t know why Disney would try to be too family friendly with their streaming service, like what’s going on? Yes, there’s a teaser for an episode about Vaping and the negative aspects of it.
