This is regarding gameplay wise so mk 1992 wasn't really playable back then

@@Gamerintriguingupdates.007 Typically, boss characters weren't playable back in the day, aside from Shinnok in MK4, the Deadly Alliance in MKDA & MK 2023, as well as Blaze in MK Armageddon. Shang was the final boss for MK 1992, but wasn't playable. MK2 & MK3 was Shao Kahn & he wasn't playable in neither of those entries, until Mortal Kombat Trilogy. ( which isn't a mainline game ) We can skip pass MK4, Deadly Alliance, Armageddon & MK 2023, since I already mentioned the final bosses there. MK Deception's final boss was Onaga. ( who wasn't playable until MK Armageddon ) From there on, all the other major bosses weren't playable. ( unless you modded the game via PC )

I would have to respectfully disagree about best look. Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance was undoubtedly Shang's best design. Brought a bit of joy seeing it in MK1 as well.

0:09 Shang Tsung's best design, no ifs, ands or buts. The 3D era was just chalk full of great designs. ( aside from Sub-Zero's alternate in Deception )
