I want to see Animalities return for MK12, I mean MK9 brought back Babality, MKX brought back Brutality, and MK11 brought back Friendship, I personally think Animality should return, but done right, like Scorpion turning into a Scorpion (which I know that happened in MK4) I think it was stupid to have scorpion turn into a penguin, Reptile turning into a chimpanzee, Mileena turning into a skunk, they should've had Reptile morph into a Crocodile, and Mileena morph into a hyena!

Here's my list of Animalities should included: 1. Hydra for eating limbs from it's opponent 2. Buffalo to knock the skeleton out of the kombatant's body 3. Crab for crushing and chopping off limbs 4. Preying Mantis for cutting and eating your enemy 5. Octopus for squeezing and devouring your kombatant 6. Griffon for eating and flying away with the body 7. Seagulls a flock for devouring the opponent 8. Crayfish for slapping the opponent with it's tail 9. Triceratops to impaled your enemy with it's horns 10. Crocodile for chomping your kombatant

I still say Reptile’s the funniest one. It’s not because of the unexpected form he took. It’s what happens after that’s random. Here you got Scorpion. The hell spawn of vengeance. A video game icon. He who fears nothing… but monkey. The monkey don’t even do anything. He just straight up runs!

I had the PC version of this, and it had a different roar for the Animality announcement. The moves were very hit and miss; generally, the original ones were better, but there were still more misses than hits.

Noticed that other then the 15 original characters from MK3, every other characters afterward explode into their animal form rather than actually transforming into one. You know this cause when the MK3 character transform they change back whereas the ones not in MK3 doesn't change back.

Baraka turns into a vulture for some reason and somehow rips the top half of Raiden off without doing anything to anchor him, including leaving his two floating forearms which the developers definitely noticed because they added red circles and little bones sticking out. MKT was a great game.

If they brought back Animalities for Mortal Kombat 1, I think the best way to reincorporate them would be for the character performing the Animality to summon their spirit animal and then have that spirit animal kill the opponent. Here are some of the spirit animals I'd associate with the respective character and how I'd imagine they'd kill the opponent. Liu Kang: Eastern Dragon (seems obvious). The dragon would appear and breathe fire on the opponent until their flesh is scorched, then the dragon would bite down on the opponent's torso and rip it off. Raiden: Raiju (basically a beast made of lightning). The raiju would roar at the opponent before pouncing on them and mauling them with it's claws and teeth until they look mutilated, then the raiju would unleash an explosion of electricity around it while roaring which fries the opponent's remains. Sub-Zero: Polar Bear (callback to original Animality): The polar bear would stand on it's hind legs and roar at the opponent, the polar bear would then pounce down onto the opponent and maul them, ending with the polar bear using it's paw to rip out the opponent's head and spinal cord, which it shows off. Scorpion: Scorpion (duh): The scorpion would grab the opponent with it's pincers by their calves and then thrust it's tail forward where the stinger pierces through the opponent's head, the scorpion would then pull it's tail back, ripping off the opponent's head in the process, and then spread out it's pincers which rips the opponent's body in half. Johnny Cage: Gorilla (King Kong reference). The gorilla would roar while pounding it's chest towards the opponent before grabbing the opponent's arms and ripping off, the gorilla then grabs the opponent's head and rips it off their shoulders before throwing it at their chest with enough force to make the head go straight through the chest.

It would have been interesting to see what color the non "Vanilla" MK3 characters would have became for their respective animalities had the animators stuck with the original style of animality animation.

Some of them like Sub-Zero as a polar bear nightwolf as a wolf make a lot of since even Molina as s skunk indefinitely Liu Kang as a dragon. But scorpion as a penguin makes no sense and reptile being achimp also makes no sense. Scorpion should definitely turn into a giant scorpion in mortal Kombat 4 that is one of his fatalities and probably his best and most logical one. And reptile turning into any type of reptile would make sense he could be a komodo dragon or even an alligator.

I miss this level of creativity. The anteater, elephant, and frog ones were kinda disturbing.

Its interesting to see how the MK3 Animalities have transformation frames and in some cases tried to make the animal make sense for the person turning into them. Then the Trilogy Animalities all transform in a sudden explosion and are almost all gags. Also, im pretty sure Raiden killed himself. Theres no eel when his Animality ends.
