This game would be so much better if they laid the map out more consistent. Everything looks the same so it becomes infreriorating making your way back to fallgrim sometimes.

Meh, if you get the glimpses of wisdom they really work well as landmarks. I think it’s done deliberately to reward attention. But I’m a biased total fanboy of this little game

The first shell kinda blows, shell-less is pretty good considering you can dodge roll and attack nearly endlessly.

I feel like such an idiot. I couldn't figure out wtf I wasn't able to use the workbench or the Shell upgrades from the Sester, I legit thought the game was glitched. Then after like hours of playing I realised you hold the x button to unlock stuff 😓

Guys just a heads up I dono if it’s just cause I’m new and it’s my second day but each weapon respects a certain mortal shell like hammer is good with the tank the hallow sword works great with Harros the club is good with Solomon even with the low stamina works great the other sword is good for teal then the other sword you get is great for them all

Just jumped bought and jumped into Mortal Shell as practice for new world (not perfect but i need more action comabt practice period), I have been enjoying the solomon shell with the smouldering mace, but tiel with the hammer and chisel looks like it could be real fun.

I have a question. Wiki says weapon max level is 10. But here I am with a +15 Hollow Sword. Does the max level increase per NG+? Btw, i'm on my 2nd NG+ now. Can someone enlighten me please.

Wow I ligit was struggling. I needed this guide xD am so happy now can have the shells and upgrades and level bit and have fun lol I hope game introduces some new shells and stuff later on and hopefully some new areas to explore! Am bit letdown with just 7 bosses and 4 shells ngl almost refunded but said hey why not just play it I'm looking at it as an expansion of dark souls and nioh so I'm not so letdown xD I think the only reasons I didn't refund was the graphics are amazing. And also you can harden mid attack when you get that down game is super fun.

Tiel is the closest you can get to running in dark souls naked. No clothing? Your stamina is not hit by the weight of your gear, but your HP defence is pretty bad. It's just that here you still have the clothing, you just don't have a nose.

I am currently at ng+4, i was expecting there might be something new, but nothing, you will only get 1 more parry skill at ng+ and thats it :/, i will just make it to +5 and try beating it without a shell :D

That’s just the hub, but you’ll be spending most your time in the hub area. The dungeons each consist of 2-3 different.

Still don understand why should u use harros. Eredim has huge life, tiel has lots of stamina, harros has 5 point on all stats. But then there's solomon which has more life and same stamina as harros and a huge resolve. I would always choose solomon as a balanced choice. Does harros evens out with the abilities?

harros is based around stamina recovery and hardening..also has heals on glimpse drops...he is good for people who quote "panic" when going in for big combos.

Finished the game with Eredin firts, now im rolling with Solomon, the game its easy when you stop play like a souls game, and play the game the way its suposed to play (every move needs to be calculated, if you dont have hardening.)

Ok so how so how do I up grade all weapons to the max because there isn't enough quenching acid to upgrade all weapons is it even possible to upgrade all weapons to the max

There's 11 acid available in first play through, basically stick to 1 weapon first run andax it and 1 more. There's alot more every ng+ that you can pick up. Ended up hoarding all the the acids and maxed hammer and chisel as soon as ng+ started

I'm on the last boss and it's not very long if you get the combat down. The learning curve for combat can be steep if you block instead of dodge in dark souls.

One of tiel's abilities give infinite sprint stamina. It still depletes when dodging or attacking though

This game is fun.... but the fact that when you die, there’s a chance that your game won’t load at the checkpoint!! Then when you try and restart the game, you can’t hit continue or load game. You have to start a new game.. so fucking dumb.

Game has 4 shells and 4 weapons each providing a different playstyle. Each shell also has unique bonuses that'll change how they approach the game. If you're trying out the shells at a bare minimum you'll get 30 hrs of gameplay out of a $30 game. That also doesn't include the challenge modes the game has to offer. Stop bitching about something you haven't even had a chance to play yet.
