The Mårtiner village festival took place in San Martino in Passiria from 26 to 28 April 2024.
Numerous traditional associations organised an unforgettable festival weekend in various tents on the festival site.
The programme began on Saturday at 15:15 with the solemn procession to Holy Mass at the St. Martin village hall. Accompanied by the Passeirer Talschaftskapelle, consisting of the music bands of the valley and the local choir, the mass was celebrated at 3.30 pm.
A highlight of the day was undoubtedly the parade, which started at 4.30 pm and led through the streets of San Martino in Passiria. Accompanied by the "Goaslschnöller" from Passiria, Verdins and Prad as well as the "Schützenbataillon Passeier" and the local clubs, the procession made its way to the festival site.
The barrel was tapped at 5.00 pm, officially opening the festival.
