The rain is amazing. But this video it was a little loud. My wife and I love listening to your videos to fall asleep too, but we both found ourselves straining to listen over the rain and not being able to fall asleep. Haha keep up the good work!

Don't listen to the people who are saying the sounds drown your voice out...Being Scared was my go to for sleep but always wished you would start storm sounds with your stories cause your narration is 2nd to none but since you started it I'm team Mortis all the way...please keep it up and it'll draw new fans like me

I love the rain/thunder sounds but it’s a little to loud compared to his voice. That’s all anyone is saying their not saying they don’t like it just it’s overpowering his voice.

Well I tried to enjoy the stories.. the background thunder noise was pretty much as loud if not louder than the narration..which makes it kinda hard for those of us who are hearing impaired to hear the story though all the noise.. don’t mind the background noise, but sounded a bit louder than the talking to me.. I’ll check some of your other stories if I’ve missed any. Instead.

Yea I would have dialed the thunder down to half/less than half the volume of the narrator. The narrator's voice should be the only standout sound.

Despite the other comments here, I really enjoyed the background rain and thunder. Maybe turn it down a notch w/ the thunder bc I can see how listening with headphones it might be too much. Really, really liked this video though

I LOVE the thunder! Not too loud for me but others seem to think so so I'm going to toss in my vote that it would be better to lower the volume than get rid of the ambiance it creates. Thanks as always Mort!

Love the stories that I could hear, but the storm sounds are too loud and I couldn’t hear chunks of the stories. It was a clever idea, having it get louder during different times in the stories definitely added to the experience, just gotta do it a wee bit lower.

The ambiance sound is awesome, I love the fact I can actually hear it. I love the kind of weather when it sounds like the storm is right on top you and the lighting has some teeth. It's when I open all the windows and listen to it. The smell is the best part but the way it sounds doesn't suck at all either. I live in the high desert of Nevada so thise is what it sounds like every summer evening. So awesome.

You can please some people some of the time and some other people all of the time. But you can't ever please all of the people ALL of the time!! All that is to say, it was a perfect balance for me. The background sound (or should I say 'noise' here) was too loud I was struggling to properly hear the narration itself. It wasn't at all in the background and it almost drowned out your voice. Anyways, we still love you! ✌🏻
