@Pallek9974 жыл бұрын
@Johnny Pitman I was very lucky. I wanted to be a 11B. Once I got my ASVAB scores we sat down with recruiter to look on my MOS list, 113 jobs popped up include 12M and it was like "WOW I want be a firefighter now" and he was like well I never saw that MOS open but let me check vacancy list and there is open!! As a recruiter he never saw this MOS available. I enlisted with Michigan National Guard and my base is 260 miles away but its not a big deal to drive once a month that far. Even the top recruiter at MEPS who gave me papers to sign couldn't believe that I enlisting with 12M because is soo rare. I wanted be a grunt but now I will be a POG. Hope it MOS is worth it.

Air Force firefighting is where it’s at. Im enlisting in the air guard the day I graduate. I’ll be doing that and right across the runway, Birmingham Station 5 is where I will be every other 3rd day. I will essentially be a career ARFF firefighter with BHFD and doing ARFF in the Guard. Couldn’t get any better than that!
