I have been so busy with work (and personal stuff) that it has been difficult to produce the scenes as I would have hoped but I had an opportunity to spend a bit of time and opted to make a shorter scene using the new Unreal Engine 5 (early access) software. So here is my version of Moses before the burning Bush (or unburnt bush) from Exodus 3. I chose to add a slight bluish/white to the flames to distinguish them from the normal colour of fire. All four individual scenes will be available to download for free from my bible scenes website in HD quality (4K for subscribers) from 07/08/2021:
www.bible-scenes.com
For more info and how to help support the project go over to the Bible scenes website: www.bible-scenes.com
All of the videos fall under the CC by 4 license which primarily means that if you use them you need to credit Bible Scenes with a link to either this KZfaq channel or the website www.bible-scenes.com (bible-scenes.com/bible-scenes...)

Slamander Ein Dragon In ancient Greece and Rome the salamander was believed to be a spirit that lived in the fire. Aristotle and Plynius the Elder mention a legendary lizard that dwells in the fire: the heat of the fire is neutralized by the cold of the salamander's body

Hey brother just thought I’d ask. Love this. Mind if I used it as a background screen for my videos ? I so bible talks and apologetic work + prayers. Would love to have something as such in the background replacing my green screen, all for the glory of God of course! Please let me know if that’s fine by you! Much love in Jesus name :) Ps - I can cross reference on you on my channel with your channel link as well…God bless.

Good work! However, I noticed in all the movie depictions of this scene, they never include the angel of the Lord, Who appeared in the flames before Moses. "There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. Exodus 3.2

Hi Jonathan, yes I do use Unreal Engine, I'm not that experienced but somehow I muddle through. It is just so powerful and the renders are practically instant.

Moses and God in the wilderness by the burning bush, which wasn't consumed. Exodus 3. God didn't have to resort to signs. Moses didn't believe him and gave all sorts of excuses. All these signs were God's permissive will to Moses, to convince and encourage him. These were to let him know that he had failed in his mission at the beginning, because he didn't know anything about the God that called him to deliver Israel, His people, and that of Moses as well. They were to dispel every notion of previous faith and belief systems he grew up in. As a prince, he would have participated in rituals and different magics, etc. He would have seen the power of the Egyptian gods and idols. Inherently, he would have to attribute his success to them, but this God is incomparable and would never share his glory with idols! Isaiah 42:8. Therefore, God vindicated all Israel and glorified His name above all Egypt, her gods, idols, people, and even livestock and everything in it by the ten plagues! God disabused Moses's heart of all previous knowledge and prowess, skills and talents, to the point that he even believed that he was slow of speech (This happens when you meet the Living God Himself! cf Daniel 10:8b). Just like God did to Abraham, who had been raised in an idolatrous household, where human sacrifice was common, and God had to show him that it wasn't demanded by Him. Although there was a need for an atoning sacrifice, He would provide it Himself. Thus, God provided a ram substitute until Passover, when the blood of the Lamb took over; then in the wilderness, they rejected God, and each man had to provide himself a sacrificial animal until the cross. This is Moses, who had gone all gung ho!, immediately after he knows he was the promised deliverer of God's people, but what happened? God didn't validate him when he resorted to having to kill the enemy of His people, but he had to flee instead! Where was God? Why couldn't God help him seeing that he was supposed to be doing God's work? He finally got a refuge in the house of Jethro, but got bullied, I believe as his father in-law used his fugitive status to oppress him: his daughters were the ones keeping the flock but somehow, now Moses was the one keeping them, and that very far into the wilderness! He spent his days and nights with animals - he, who had been raised as a royalty! He spent 30 extra years being taught humility until he was ready. ( Thus, the 400 years captivity became 430 years, Genesis 15:13; Exodus12:40). He was no longer the hot- headed prince that was ready to even kill for his belief. Now, God appears and tells him He was sending him back to the very place from where he fled. He had become a fugitive, and God was sending him back? God didn’t help him then, why would He expect him to go back again and get him killed? What Moses didn't know at that time was that no man could do the work of the Spirit in the flesh. Moses was a prince of Egypt. He learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians, mighty in WORDS AND DEED! Acts 7:22. He went out in the strength and wisdom he grew up with. He was zealous for the God of Israel, which he never knew thither-to; he was ready to fight for his new people against the Egyptians; he was ready to use his status and power, in all worldly wisdom to help his new family. But God didn’t recognize him, but he rather had to flee for his life and became a wanted man. Who would want to continue to obey this God? But, in due time, He met with Moses by the burning bush. He got his attention with a supernatural event. This means that Moses was depressed and wasn't interested in anything at all until God got his attention, made him listen, and began to show him how to work successfully with God. All the signs show the same thing: Moses would listen to God and do exactly as He says, no matter the outcome. (1) He placed his hand in his bosom, took it out, it became leprous, put it back and take it out again, it was clean. 2) Throw the rod in his hand to the ground; it turned into a serpent. Common sense indicates taking the serpent by the head, so it doesn't bite, but God commands him to take it by the tail - contrary to common sense. By this, God is showing him that not all his commands make sense, but all must be obeyed and performed exactly as commanded. In Exodus 3, God introduced Himself to Moses and gave him the whole information on what He was about to do and why. This wasn't the case from the beginning. Moses went on his own strength and wisdom. But now that he finally met the God for whom he was zealous back then, he became reluctant and fearful and no longer had confidence in himself, and thus, found it difficult to trust this God again. So, he came up with many excuses, despite God patiently showing him signs and miracles that proved He was ready to be with him at this time. But Moses wasn't a stranger to all these. The Egyptians also dabbled in stuff like these. Exodus 4. Therefore, he gave the excuse that he wasn't eloquent (he had been with sheep who don't talk back for nearly 30 years Exodus 4:10; Acts 7:22), and God then brought him into remembrance with his brother Aaron, who suddenly got up to start to go look for him! Since God's gifts and calling are without repentance, Romans 11:29, He made Aaron his spokesperson for His people, and Moses will be to Him instead of God- meaning that God will put His words in the mouth of Moses, and he will speak God's word to Aaron, and Aaron will speak the word as situation demands. These words are immutable and will definitely be performed exactly as spoken. Exodus 4:16. God permitted Moses to keep the rod as a booster to his moral to enable him to fulfill all God's words. He did exactly this, as He would say nothing to Pharaoh without going back to God to ask and to give feedback. Exodus chapters 5-17. Moses did exactly as he was told until the arrival of his father in-law Exodus 18, with the pretext of returning his wife, who Moses had sent back at some point in time, possibly because of her outbursts against Moses and against the commandment of His God - Exodus 4:24-26, who came to break down his confidence once again, and got him to move before the pillar of cloud removed as God had instructed. Exodus 14:19-20; God had to make an unprecedented appearance to His people, who are in danger of getting corrupted by the presence of this man, who began to usurp God's authority over Israel through intimidating Moses. Exodus 18; Numbers 11, and was successful in getting the people to fear God and reject Him. Thus, the law was given to separate them from God, while they have an intermediary - this wasn't how God wanted it. This instituted legislation and executive and judicial governance of the people of God, till today, by the establishment of the 70 elders, who shared God's power over Moses, among them. Had Moses trusted God, all these powers would reside only with him. This was what finally got him into the deep depression and he began to make mistakes, became impatient with God and the people; angry and struck the rock twice Numbers 20:10-13, instead of once, because of erosion of his belief, as at the beginning. Thus, he asked God to kill him, and God honored this, but kept his body from Satan, who had the power of hell and death! Hebrews 2:14-15, His body was hidden preserved until he was restored to glory with Jesus Christ on the mount of transfiguration. Matthew 17:1-3; Deuteronomy 34:5; Jude 1:9. The pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night were God's indication of His presence and leading of His people Exodus 14:19; 13:22; 34:4. After their sin in Exodus 32, the covenant was reviewed, and God gave a verbal command to Moses and sent an angel instead before them Exodus 33:1-3. God couldn't be present with His people anymore because of sin! Now, Moses had to ask God to show him the way - still in unbelief, because he couldn't understand God and His Faithfulness to His promises, but God chose to have mercy on him still! Exodus 33:13-35. But in Numbers 10, Moses implored his father-in-law to go with them and be to them "instead of eyes"! Numbers 10:29-33, then they departed without watching for the leading of the pillar of cloud, verse 32-36, but depended on a man- Hobab, instead God but they still religiously spoke to the ark, when it sets forward, and not the cloud, and when it rested, as he puts on an unnecessary religious show for his father-in-law, Hobab, Numbers 10:29-36; No point in time that God ever told him to do that! Everything went downhill from there on, the Lord had to personally come down in the pillar of cloud and it went up with him, until all who came out of Egypt eventually died in the wilderness, except Joshua and Caleb, and the young from 20 years upward. But God remained faithful to His people despite their unbelief! Numbers 14:30. Finally, as believers in God and in His Christ, we must not presume to do God's work of the Spirit in the flesh. It may bring gain and miracles and signs and wonders, but it will always lead away from Him and His life. This life is only found in abiding in Jesus Christ 1 John 5:11-12. Moses died because he lost fellowship with this life and was restored by this. Matthew 17:1-5. Jesus Christ sent His Holy Spirit to teach, lead, guide, interpret, and bring His word to our remembrance. John 14:26; Romans 8:9,14. Anything outside of this leads to death - both physical and eternal! Abide in the fold John chapters 10-17! Israel has been seeking signs since then and was ultimately rejected because of sin of unbelief. Hebrews 3:17-19; 4:6-8; Matthew 16:4; Judges 6:17-18! Jesus Christ went ahead and paid for all-time sins. John 19:30!

Loathing god’s Provision It was another difficult chapter in the history of the Children of Israel. They were wandering in the wilderness. They were jigging and jagging around the nation of Edom in order to avoid conflict with the Edomites. The people were tired and frustrated. And then they did a really bad thing: “the people spoke against god and against moses” (Numbers 21:5a). Not good. And what did they say? “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food” (Numbers 21:5b). They called the divinely-provided manna, the bread from heaven, “worthless food” to be loathed.

Jesus in black and white 😁 Where did Moses the Black live? Egypt Saint Moses the Black lived during the fourth century in Egypt. He was an Ethiopian, and he was black of skin and therefore called “Murin” (meaning “like an Ethiopian”). In his youth he was the slave of an important man, but after he committed a murder, his master banished him, and he joined a band of robbers.
