This video is a tribute to Mossel Bay, my home town.
I grew up here and left in 1980. One of these days I'll be back home when I retire. Can't wait for it.
PS. Retirement finally arrived and I am back in Mossel Bay!! I shot some new material over the last couple of years that I will add in future placings.

I visited Mossel Bay in 1975, we stopped on our way to Cape Town. We stayed at the Hotel Diaz. The best holiday taking the scenic garden route from Durban. The people were so friendly and I would love to visit Mossel Bay again on my next return to SA.

Very lovely city, thank you for doing the drone video. I see it is a unique city in the sense that you have the beach, the cliffs and the town in very proximity to each other. Hopefullly will be able to visit. Specially the Diaz Museum and the Caravel when he sailed into the Bay all those hundres of years ago.

Indeed, you will be amazed by everything this town provide. Just last week my plans to retire there started realising and in 2 months I will relocate there! And when you get there, don't miss the longest over-sea zip-line from that very same cliff.

PS: In the vid you can see the Diaz museum containing the Caravel at 00:31. It is the building with the green roof.

awesome Video, i done some footage in dec 2017, but had problems with the seagulls trying to attack my drone at the point

Same here. Especially at the Point they are really aggressive. I found that they get less aggressive if you make a few mock attacks yourself, but if one gets in the way it may turn out really bad. If you look at my video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/j7yhfM2enprWl3U.html at about 5:20 I had a close encounter and slowed the footage down for better effect.

Vdeo gesukkel na so 6min....moes dit maar klik -klik self aanskuif met die hand tot die einde. Die deel bo-op die kop met die golfbaan was vir my vreemd, maar ongelooflike mooi tonele aan die 'ongeskende' kuskant, agter die vuurtoring..ag ja.a.a..sugtend..

I have to agree, originally it was awful, but I finally got to updating the video with new music from KZfaq free library. I think it is much better now.

Hi Jacob, sorry for only replying now, I am not good at keeping up with the social pages! You are welcome to use the Mossel Bay footage and a credit would be nice. I still have some more MB footage that I should upload, but the past December I got some very nice drone footage in the Eastern Cape that also begs to be edited and uploaded.

Hi Peter my notifications was af, so jammer dat ek nou eers reageer. Jy is welkom om van die footage te gebruik indien nog nodig. Indien daar 'n spesifieke gedeelte is waarin jy belangstel kan jy my laat weet dan kan ek dit vir jou upload erens. Die oorspronlike formaat is 1080p teen ongeveer 60Mhz, 25 of 50 fps. Hierdie is maar net my stokperdjie, maar my "naam" Ef Bee erens in jou credits sal waardeer word.

Next time fly your drone over the Hartenbos estuary and show the terrible polluted state of the estuary next to a so called blue flag beach. This will show the truth about the nice town where they pump sewege in waterways and the truth of a country where they don't care a hoot about the environment.
