Since then, he has honed his skill of mounting deer, participating in competitions and making his own forms after careful study of the whitetail deer. He has reached the "specialist" ranks due to his appreciation of the beauty of the whitetail deer, and helping people remember their hunt by preserving the animal is truly special.

Do you know how to get the hide from off of the deer to the point where it is ready to mount? I want to try taxidermy but I don’t know this part

I live in canada. You can well imagine the time involved in making these clay sculptures,then molds. As time continues, we will see even better forms,although I'm unsure how much better. I believe mr. Mears forms are cutting edge. I ordered one of his forms and I was amazed at the quality and anatomy. No plug intended.

I Live about 5 miles from Ben. I worked for Ben at one time and that’s how I got started in taxidermy. He is as good as the come , and better than most.

The one that had its neck sticking way out is realest mount i have ever seen. Looks just like a buck when he realizes something is up.
