I understand your train of thought, but technology is not nearly as far along as they’re trying to make us believe actually. All of these companies, Tesla included, are pretending we’re much closer to fully-functioning humanoid robots for big investment dollars. Tesla, for example, has become a multi-billion dollar corporation based on false promises made by Elon of a tech utopia being right around the corner.

@retikulum I went back and I guess the narrator does say that right before. Fair enough, my mistake. On another note, how does 600 motors only lead to 600 unique expressions? I don't know what they're defining as a unique expression, but grade school level knowledge of permutations makes that sound odd.

@@shamfyre @shamfyre yeah somehow it doesn't make sense. I've found the information "Alex contains more than 600 servomotors in the face, body, and arms". So, 600 motors in total for the whole robot. And 600 expressions. But how do they count expressions?

Only if you spend a LOT of money only for a VERY realistic latex mask for Halloween. That level of precision requires high quality production, hard to find such things for 20 bucks on Amazon. And also, there has to be a complex intricate connection between the surface and whats underneath otherwise it wouldn't JUST MOVE properly... so... unless your's is joke 😅
